Hey guys! I’ve been messing around with some revamps of Lana songs that were once tied to the scrapped TROPICO album. I tried to imagine how these tracks could’ve sounded if they had actually made it into the project, so this is basically my take on that idea. Feel free to check them out if u r curious, and who knows, I might end up doing a few more in the future.

 

 

p.s. in this version, I fixed a few vocals that had been bothering me.

p.s. by far, this is my favorite, from the instrumentals and lyrics to the melody. however, i’d like to apologize for the slightly off sync vocals, this was the hardest one to match properly

as for the vocals, that’s not really my thing, but I did the best I could with what I know to improve them so far.

I’ve always found it a bit unusual that a track from 2008 was considered for a 2013 project, so I figured there was probably a more updated version at some point. ahh thank you!!! wish I could've done the full verses, but had to cut them bc of the instrumental. 

as for the lossless, I did my best - not a master like u lol, but I used that website u recommended in some of ur posts to improve the audio quality.

@She Who Screeches btw, huge thanks for sharing that website with us mere mortals - it's the reason I finally separated the “Dragonslayer” backing vocals properly and can actually hear lana's voice clearly

       ugggh I love MVSEP it's so good

       I actually heard first about it from @affa03!

       though I do believe now I've mastered my craft 

       and I'm glad you were able to separate the vocals!!! I find that if you upscale the quality first using FlashSR and then separate, the vocals sound clearer
