never2heaven Posted February 24 Posted February 24 her outfit last year was so amazing i really hope she goes! 12 Quote
Embach Posted February 24 Posted February 24 The topic little bit reminds me of Heavenly Bodies. Although last year I realised how Lana's 2024 look was her best look. 2018 is iconic but there's something about 2024 which kind of had such a huge wow-effect on me that didn't happen with the 2025 look. 9 Quote
Jeanne Dielman Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I'll be genuinely surprised if she doesn't attend. The theme is tailor-made for her. It'd also be a great way to promote Stove coming in May (or June lol). 9 Quote

NormanFRockwell Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Fun theme, can be very creative. But I'm personally still not keen on these superficial sell-the-clothes events when the U.S. is literally mobilizing a huge army near Iran, potentially causing World War III, with some very questionable people at the helm (mainly Trump). 3 Quote "Stove... Coming soon." - Lana Del Rey

I’m not defending most of the people who attend, but it IS a charity event for a major art gallery. While there is a consumer aspect, most of the Gala’s designs and designers are so niche and inaccessible, it’s not really that big of an advertising venture; many view it as an expression of fashion as art. It’s essentially a mechanism where social competition is used to fund a public good. Is it wild that those two things exist with war, famine, and destruction? Sure. But the mobilization of military forces in the Persian Gulf would go on regardless of the girls and gays queening out to costumes for a few hours in May. 7 Quote I would trade the Cartier for someone to trust (just kidding)

Spyda Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Perhaps a bit basic, but I'm excited to see pieces inspired by famous paintings! There's definitely a lot of room for creativity here 8 Quote

DeadSeaOfMercury Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I was on the Madonna Reddit yesterday & a bunch of people are hoping she skips it because Bezos is involved. Now I don’t care for him, But Vogue & The Met are about the arts, YES there are horrible things going on in this world that are technically more important, But there will ALWAYS be tragedy. Life doesn’t always have to be a downer. I know it’s just a bunch of rich people in fancy clothes, But so what? Idk rant over. 2 Quote
