I've wanted to make a thread about her for sooo long! Her songs are so beautiful and magical, I've been obsessed since she released her debut album, "Gardener of Eden", in 2022. A lot of people call her a Lana Del Rey copy because she has covered her songs (mostly WLW versions) and her first album has a similar vibe(but they aren't like a Remy Bond copy and paste). I don't think she is at all, especially with everything post gardener of eden. Her last album Inferno is metal/screamo music, and her recent singles bring back the vibe of her first album, but expanding it. Also, based on a recent instagram story she's going more metal again.

The way if I bought After Forever type beat sample in May 2021 (when I discovered it) and write lyrics to it and released it, I would've earned these same viral coins she's earning today 

 

Nonetheless, I'm happy for her success! I love her storytelling and I really appreciate the stories she's telling of her experience (especially in Lilith). I don't really listen to her but her vibe is beautiful and I love that she's doing heavy metal styled songs now. I really hope that people will bring her out of Lana comparisons and appreciate her true style!

This is one of my favorite songs released this year. 2:24-2:55 literally makes me ascend to heaven, it's so beautiful.
