pinupgirl Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Heavily inspired by @Hunny's thread about the 2020s, i thought this one would be interesting too for me it's: (not in order) • Pin Up Galore • Yayo • Get Drunk • You, Mister • A Star For Nick • Gramma • Wayamaya • Trash Magic • Oh Say Can You See • Motel 6 11 Quote

Embach Posted July 6 Posted July 6 In a random order, I'll also include AKA songs because they were recorded in 2008: For K Pt 2 (including Rahab demo) Raise Me Up (Mississippi South) Smarty Kill Kill Pawn Shop Blues Yayo A Star For Nick Money Hunny Axl Rose Husband Heavy Hitter Get Drunk Honourable Mentions: Trash Magic, Live Forever (Golden Grill), Moi Je Joue, Vivian, Wayamaya, Mermaid Motel, (I would also include the Vicarage demo of Motel 6 but it's from 2010). I have to be frank, there are a lot of her songs from the 2000s which I have only listened to once very long time ago, so I need to revisit them. I don't really listen to her laptop demos very often besides a few I really really love. I do think that her laptop demos provide very important information on how her songs her built on then. Most of my favourite chunk of her unreleased come from 2008-2010 though. 9 Quote
Hunny Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I'm terribly sorry but I picked a top 15 Top 10 was IMPOSSIBLE like I was literally fighting for my life and nearly died but still couldn't do it So I went with top 15 but then it was still impossible so I decided to skip Sirens material unfortunately And since I cheated I decided to at least skip the honorable mentions list so now I'm automatically redeemed thank you very much and I already sacrificed some of my most favorite songs Anyways here's my top 15 Spoiler Btw like I said in the other thread It's hard for me to pick an absolute top list of songs cause it all depends on how I feel on that day/week but despite that and in general I think this is the most accurate list, like the closest. I THINK (Not in order): Yayo (every version) Trash Magic (final and Lizzy demo) Oh Say Can You See (final and studio 356 version) Heavy Hitter (version 1, second mix of version 1 tho) Disco (studio 356 take 1) 1949 (final) Get Drunk (no kung fu version and studio 356 take 1) Hundred Dollar Bill (final) Hawaiian Tropic Mermaid Motel (final) Raise Me Up (final) Pin Up Galore (version 1) Gramma (final) Pawn Shop Blues (final and demo) Put Your Lips Together version 1 (didn't put it in parenthesis cause the other version was made in 2010 so it doesn't count) 6 Quote

Unfixable Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I'm choosing to exclude AKA Lizzy Grant/any released songs even though it was recorded in 2008 because it would flood the ranking. Pin Up Galore Junky Pride Hawaiian Tropic / Everyman Gets His Wish / Spin Me Round Heavy Hitter v2 Golden Grill (Live Forever) Marilyn / Me & My Boyfriend Roll With Me (On The Radio) Stop Lite De-Lite Come When You Call Me (A.M.E.R.I.C.A.)
