daphnedinkley Posted July 14 Posted July 14 i loooved watching LA Ink and New York Ink when i was a kid! i remember thinking KVD was the coolest person alive and i wasn't sure if i wanted to be her or be with her my bf and i once went thru a phase of watching Inkmaster compilations on youtube, you know the ones that are like "TEN MOST DISASTROUS TATTOOS EVER PLACED ON A BODY" and its some guy putting a portrait of the human canvas's dead grandmother on their chest but accidentally making her look like a melted candle with black teeth? we got HOURS of fun out of those videos 2 Quote

Tattoo Fixers was about people with drunken or relationship regrets getting their bad tattoos covered but so many of them, while not as embarrassing as the original, weren't much better because they were usually too random, too huge and sometimes too dark against pale skin. Most tattoo artists thought the show was a bad representation and a parlour even offered the opportunity for anyone who got a bad cover-up from them to get a new cover-up for free! As for Just Tattoo Of Us, what a fever dream. People usually in toxic relationships where someone had cheated, getting revenge on each other by letting each other be tattooed at the other's request and have the big reveal be a surprise. There were ones like a woman squatted with a pile of poo underneath bearing the word "dumped" below and a bulldog with an ugly woman's face and the bellybutton was the dog's...well. I don't know how this hot ass mess of a show got green lit. It was borderline spousal abuse. To be fair, the hosts didn't find it funny, which was a small consolation. But they looked like they were questioning their life choices for sure. 1 Quote
