Jared Leto accused of criminal sexual conduct

4 women have accused Jared Leto of alleged sexual misconduct & assault that took place when they were teenagers.

 

The BBC has seen photos & messages that corroborate the women's accounts as well as an NDA that Leto sent one woman.

Not to be insensitive, hopefully justice is served, but isn't it weird how Lana said "Chariots of gold, I ride with Jay-Z, Jared Leto" in Last Girl On Earth, and now they both have allegations!?... I think Jay-Z was in a lawsuit last year. Did she curse them?

This has basically been an open secret around the LA scene forever. He allegedly has a harem of girls and is as close to a cult leader as you can get.

I don't think that they're friends though. She only was linked up in real life with him for that Gucci Guilty advert. But the way she is associated with him because of that Gucci ad and Last Girl On Earth that's kind of a weird "stain" (if you considered that as a kinship?)

Anyone that makes an accusation should be listened to and taken seriously. But until I see evidence and he’s charged with a crime and a court finds him guilty, it’s innocent until proven guilty.  I don’t jump up just because of claims.  The BBC is not a court of law, and tbh this seems like some TMZ style reporting, bizarre for them.  

Yes courts are not always fair, but that doesn’t mean fair trials don’t exist, or that we should prejudge.

This is not news to me. I heard about his inappropriate behavior with a 15 years old way back at the start of this year.

I will always stand with the victims. I still believe in "innocent until proven guilty" for almost everything, except cases like this, anything that has to do with kids and teenagers. I'd rather be made a fool of than support a potential abuser. And these rumors been circulating around the internet for quite some time now, so i don't doubt it's true.

Well you don’t  have to support them no, but my opinion is going round saying they are a pedo and “I knew he was a creep” like many do, isn’t right either, until the facts are explained.

This has been known for at least 10 years and I remember the criticism when Lana went to the met gala with him and did the gucci guilty campaign.

 

All my support to the victims. I hope he will be punished severely. He hurt a lot of people.

 

Side note but wether it be the cult things or the L.A. power abuse thing, he seems like the archetype of the people that Lana sung about in the earliest part of her career. Sad to see that after all this time and me too the system still allows for such people to exists and be predators.

And in the famous QFTC post Lana listed a few female artists that got cancelled in the same exact order she listed them

But in all honesty I do hope the women are now doing better and I'm so proud of them for standing up for themselves, I hope that he actually gets cancelled and it doesn't go under the rug like every single other male artist who has done sth bad

I guess male privilege + people glaze Beyoncé and that's her husband. I don't think allegations inherently mean someone is guilty, I also heard there were holes in the girl's story, so maybe she lied. I always found Jay-Z dodgy though after finding out he has a 12-year age gap with Beyoncé— I believe they knew each other when she was 16, which feels weird since they're now married... Also, them being buddies with Diddy…
