Um hello, I have been waiting for this thread since like forever.

I'm a massive AKB48 stan. I bought two copies of their latest single Sayonara Crawl to vote for my favourite members in the election (too bad I didn't for vote Acchan when she was still in the group):

 

 

It's funny that you posted Yasai Sisters actually because half of those members aren't even in the group anymore :( it makes me sad. Also, if you wanted to know, my two favourite members are Yui and Ricchan (both from Team A):

I'm a fan of Perfume too, Daijo Banai is currently my fav song by them! :-)

Ah yes, Utada Hikaru is one of the Japanese legends to be honest! I discovered through Kingdom Hearts (as many probably have) and my favourite song is Final Distance. I love her calm ballads.

 

I had no idea why she tried to enter the US music industry though with the shit pop music she was made to sing. :s

I also discovered her through Kingdom Hearts :D. To be honest, I love her English albums. I really love how different they are. EXODUS is much more experimental and electronic while This Is The One kind of brings her back to her pop/r&b roots. I really enjoyed her tackling a mainstream pop sound.

Damn Perfume have been growing on me so much lately, Triangle is by far their best album, infact it's one of my all-time favourite albums. I'm so excited about seeing them live :defeated:

I think I'll try getting into Kyary too because she was the first j-pop artist I listened to but because I've been listening to so many other people, I haven't really had the time for her but she's pretty similar to Perfume's music and I don't know how you can not think she's adorable.

 

Also, is it worth getting into Utada Hikaru? I've been listening to her a little bit recently and there's something really appealing about her and her music. I know her USA career was a bit of a mess but I actually like some of it :icant:

I love both her English albums :toofunny:. You should definitely get into her. I would recommend Deep River, ULTRA BLUE and HEART STATION but you should start with First Love and work your way up. You really get to see her progression as an artist as she starts to take more control over her music which happens around Deep River.

Ah, Perfume was AMAZING last night in London. I can't breathe :icant:  

It was overwhelming to see them all in the flesh. We got to about 7th row which was pretty good seeing as we had to queue down three roads (we went straight from school so came as early as we could) They were so cute at the show, especially aa-chan who is so adorably annoying  :flutter:

@@Harlem, did you have a decent place in the crowd? It was surprisingly easy for me to sneak in round the side, I probably really annoyed everyone though because I was definitely among the shortest and youngest fans.  :cuteface:

Ahh I was there from about 12 so about 30th in line? Fucking assholes kept pushing in, like this group of people who just came and sat near the front, pissed me off big time. What no-one noticed though was that there was an O2 priority line and the woman came over to us and was like, darling if you're on O2 you can go in there. So we fucking RAN to the queue and got to run past like 50 people (most of whom had pushed in front of us anyway) and managed to get 2nd row  :excited: 

(They let PTA members in first so the front row was mainly all japanese fans anyway)

 

The best part of the night for me was I did a hand heart to Kashi and she did it back (then other ppl did it after she did it back BUT IT WAS 2 ME #willnevershutupaboutthat)

 

The whole thing was just  :crying2:  :crying2:  :crying2: 

 

A-chans crying  :crying:  :crying:  :crying:
