yu16273947 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Sigh I'm sorry for the people who lost their homes or family members. But it was not the first time. Why do they build wooden houses? #simplebutnotdumbquestion 0 Quote

Why do they build wooden houses? #simplebutnotdumbquestion Does it even matter? It was an F5 tornado. Wood built or not, no house was going to stay up. 2 Quote leak the barrie-james co-written songs + elvis (2013)
pinupgirls Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Does it even matter? It was an F5 tornado. Wood built or not, no house was going to stay up. Some people don't have the money too build it by something other than wood as well so...... 1 Quote
Viva Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Sigh I'm sorry for the people who lost their homes or family members. But it was not the first time. Why do they build wooden houses? #simplebutnotdumbquestion I wonder that all the time. At least the schools should be built with concrete I guess. I think in this particular case wouldnt matter because the tornado was beyond strong but in most cases they would be able to save many lifes if the construction was different. 1 Quote

Just look at the pictures (or videos) taken after the tornado. Here is one: I wonder that all the time. At least the schools should be built with concrete I guess. I think in this particular case wouldnt matter because the tornado was beyond strong but in most cases they would be able to save many lifes if the construction was different. I totally agree. You would rather survive when you search protection in a house, building like this ^ than in a wooden house, building. 1 Quote
