I Was An Angel Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Haha it's a "What if" kinda thing, AKA could never be successful, Lana had to change a little and upgrade her music to become more familiar and more mainstream 0 Quote

whitman Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I have to say that AKA is actually my favorite record of Lana so far. It works way better as an whole record than BTD for me. So Kill Kill is the most iconic song so probably it would be the song that it would make her big ( just like VG did for her). Before her album cam out, she would release a promo video for Raise Me Up . Her second official single ( with an BTD video production) it would be Yayo. Then she would just release homevideos for Gramma, Oh Say Can You See me and Trash Magic ( in my Aka version this song it is definitely on it). She would be the pitchfork/hipster darling, not the type of fame that Lana has now. 2 Quote
Sitar Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 On one hand I'd love her to have success with that sound so that she wouldn't completely obliterate it after 2010. But then I love so many of the later tracks... Perhaps I would like a few videos and a physical release but still very little success so that her career would keep on the track it went on and we'd still have great fame-hungry anthems like Noir. Like if they'd given her a budget for a Kill Kill or Yayo or Gramma video before she ended up flopping, that would be so cool. 1 Quote
Viva Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Tittle Album: The Country America Used to Be Tracks: 1. Kill Kill 2. Queen Of The Gas Station 3. Kinda Outta Luck 4. Raise Me Up 5. Driving In Cars With Boys 6. Tired of Singing the Blues 7. Mermaid Motel 8. American 9. Pawn Shop Blues 10. Off to the Races 11. Put Me In A Movie 12. Oh Say Can You See 13. Golden Grill Bonus/ Delux 1. Motel 6 2. Noir 3. Hundred $ Bill 4. Queen Of Disaster 5. Gramma First Single: Kind out a Luck Second Single: Kill Kill Third Single: Queen of the Gas Station Fourth Single: Queen of Disaster Fifth Single: Tired of Singing The Blues ** All released with official remix SNL Setlist: Tired of Singing the Blues & Queen of Disaster (shows range and ability to go popish and accustic) Debut Music Video: Kind outta Luck **You can create a mix between Tarantino/ Almodovar and give a treatement to this video to make it iconic. Trash, sarcastic, beautiful images yet artistic. Plus the music is kinda of funny and catchy I think BTD and Paradise would exist in a different form. Every artist, at least they should, grows, changes, evolves. Maybe we wouldn't have the character LDR but we would still have what LDR is. 1 Quote
