I'm sure you've heard of this band at least once in your life, I mean please...   I personally stan for Courtney, I think she's fucking awesome tbh   I understand where the hate is coming from but hey. My favorite song is definitely Malibu (Violet is very close tho). Imo they were at their best in '98-'99 around Celebrity Skin era, but I think Live Through This was their best album.

 

So what do you think/did you like them in their glory days in the 90s/do you like them now (and by them I mean Courtney 'cause she started touring again a couple months ago)/what do you think about eric,patty,melissa/ discuss!

I love Retard Girl but I havent heard much more of their music. Courtney's a mess but she hilarious. My sister stans for them so maybe ill borrow a copy of one of their albums and have a listen

I have to admit I'm not super familiar with all their music though, only ever listened to Celebrity Skin (album). Malibu is also my fave song, from those I've heard at least!

I stan the hell out of Courtney & Hole. Nobody's Daughter is lyrically the best album of all time & anyone who disagrees can kiss my armpit. That album means everything to me. It brought me out of my darkest moments & healed my soul. I'd be dead in a ditch if it weren't for that album. The Rehab demos of Nobody's Daughter are even better though. Omg!

 

Courtney is such a nice person, I've talked to her on twitter a bunch of times (before she got her official account her shit faced management runs  ) 

 

Melissa auf der Maur's albums are really good too! Patty Schemel is soooo freaking amazing in every way, everyone needs to watch the Hit So Hard documentary! I'm friends with her, Jackie, Melissa & Eric on facebook, all of them are fucking ahh! I've talked to all of them a few times too. Eric has the greatest mind, his poetry is breathtaking & everyone should read it. 

 

Favorite songs are Pacific Coast Highway, Nobody's Daughter, Fly, Teenage Whore, Clouds, Hold On To Me, Gutless, Retard Girl, Softer Softest & umm everything else they've ever done lol.

I'm a huge Hole fan, yet I wish their last album wasn't under the name 'Hole' without Sam, Eric and Melissa.

Plus, I can't explain how much I love her solo album. Even though Courtney says it's a mess and that she's embarrassed because of it, I just love it.

They don't have any unreleased song, a few songs recorded live or very rough demos of songs that were never finalized. Courtney has a few from her AS era. The NB demos are out there if you want that too.
