delreyfreak Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I just need to put it out there how happy I am that everyone has put West Coast relatively high in their list and a lot of people have put it as their #1's. It makes me happy because I think it's one of Lana's best songs - it's evokes a sense of drowning in the dark, but also bathing in the comfort of a warm fire. It's full of contrasts and opposites - the verses are fast-paced while a breezy atmosphere enters throughout the chorus. The synthesisers that creep in towards the end of the track are so intense and emotional. I can't fully explain my love for this song. 3 Quote

West Coast (I love this song and it is an amazing single but ratings-wise for me it doesn't compare to other songs on the album) 10. Cruel World (one of the best album openers I've ever heard) 9.
