Trash Magic Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Lana is on the soundtrack to yet another movie 10 "It's 2011, and we should all be aware of exactly how fast technology is developing" - Lana Del Rey
AKA Lizzy Grant Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Lana just tweeted a teaser video for her upcoming song which will be on the soundtrack for The Age Of Adaline. tweet: https://twitter.com/LanaDelRey/status/590659100972814338 teaser video: 1
American Money Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I had a sneaking suspicion she was tied to this movie somehow after that instagram post yesterday. It was just a little too random and out of the blue for her not to be tied to this. 2 Nothing scares me anymore.
YUNGATA Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 i know we make jokes about her retiring and exclusively doing soundtracks forever but sis pls 24
Greenwich Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I like it better than all of the other soundtrack songs. Big Eyes and I Can Fly were eh for me... and Once Upon a Dream was alright. But this sounds pretty good! 5
GangstaBoy Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I don't know if it was the movie (which I'm really looking forward to) or the song or Ellen Burstyn saying 'Happy birthday, momma' or all of those combined but this made me so happy I was literally about to cry 3
Just Cherry Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I like what I've heard so far, but it reminds me too much of Wait for Life for some reason. 1
Rebel Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 THIS IS SO RANDOM (not at this point tbh) But I'm enjoying this song wowwwww 2
mermaid12 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I really wonder when we will hear the full. Do you guys think it will be on Honeymoon since its not on the soundtrack? Please give it to us sooooon Lana!!
Sitar Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 OMG the "Life is Beautiful" thread was one of the last ones on ldr.fm, this has been cooking since fucking 2012! 8
thatsomason Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I really wonder when we will hear the full. Do you guys think it will be on Honeymoon since its not on the soundtrack? Please give it to us sooooon Lana!! What do you mean it's not on the soundtrack? It hasn't been released yet, just the score 2
mermaid12 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 What do you mean it's not on the soundtrack? It hasn't been released yet, just the score It's not on the Soundtrack either: http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/age-of-adaline-soundtrack-features-bob-dylan-jefferson-airplane-ella-fitzgerald-and-more-20150421 2
naachoboy Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 it's from the soundtrack/movie according to dan heath, he said it was made for it. 1
Chris Cuomo Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 boring. everything Dan heath produces is a snooze 4
ilovetati Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I hope it goes on iTunes tonight or tomorrow. And yeah, I don't think this has anything to do with Hennymoon. The other single from the film wasn't included on the official soundtrack either. 1
Lad Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 It's always good to hear Lana's voice I like it! The last part where she says the title was my fave Girl release it know 1
SarcasticBeauty Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Its really boring tbh. Its sounds the same as Old Money to me. Its like no vocal changes. So hopefully this is not how Honeymoon sounds. 4
whitman Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Why people need to be so negative about a ballad written for a movie? It doesn't need to sound different from her usual stuff because that's the reason why the producers wanted her on the soundtrack in first place. It's a classic ballad with a cinematic feel and it fits perfectly the tone of the trailer. But something about the timing of this release tell me this was last-minute decision to put her on the soundtrack ( maybe to get some buzz for the movie). 8
