It is a big honor, because it takes someone special and influencial to make it to the famous and one of the hardest Crossword Puzzles, that of the NY Times on Sundays.

 

For the second time, Lana is to be found in the clues  38 down

It used to be said many decades ago-

that the way one knew they made it either was to appear on the Cover of the Rolling Stone,

Have a number one lp (anyone can have a #1 single, but a #1 album is more important and got the attention of the cool radio stations like the long gone WNEW-FM which loved lps (and one of the last surviving links, Dennis Elsas just retired two days ago with his last show)

and appear in the

New York Times Crossword puzzle. (which is like having a #1 single, happens very rarely, but when it does, it will happen again to the great ones- And this was the second time.)

and it was specific to Lana Del Rey (it didn't say actress Turner or singer Del Rey) it was specific to Lana.

Now it's 3 for 3

 

So in the last 2 weeks, we got a new song, a new video is coming, the tour is starting at which point there will be hundreds of new versions of songs, a NY Times Crossword puzzle mention, followed by Honeymoon released in a week with no competition and a second number one LP (which would be historic and give Lana FOUR top ten lps in a row, which again, would be historic especially for an artist not going for number 1 singles or being the flavor of the day.

 

BTW- I bet Lana can finish the entire puzzle, in all my life only once did I get every letter done.One has to not only be smart, but get the references.

Actually, that would be a great item to get signed. Gotta keep that in mind.

Paradise isn't a LP and Lana Del Ray didn't chart

Check the charts- Paradise indeed charted on it's own, and is there in the history of the chart books (see:Joel Whitburn © for the history of all the billboard charts, at #8.

Indeed, it counts a separate top 10 album on the all time charts. Billboard is the chart everyone looks to (and the only chart remaining from the 1940s to the present. Record World and Cashbox long since

closed down.)

The Beatles and Elvis also have their own in the listings as such, some 3 song EPs also are considered on the singles charts among others.

 

So yes, Hollywood will be the 4th Top 10 LP on the Billboard charted Top 200 and notated officially in Top LPS/CDS, etc.

And for a short while all 3 were still charting together after Ultraviolence was released.

Each entry individual counts separate from the others OFFICIALLY.
