PARADIXO Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Burning Desire is wayyyy more indie pop than trip hop lol. And Fucked My Way Up to the Top has (kinda) a trip hop beat so FMWUTTT is the last time we got trip hop Lana 4 Quote

LoreleiLee Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 And here I am, not even sure what the fuck trip hop is Something like hip hop electronica, but slowed down and dreamy, sometimes darker, melancholic and eerie. Like Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead and some Bjork stuff. Rhythm reminds me of heart skipping beats. 2 Quote
plush Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 The beats on Lolita may be considered trip hop, the samples in the final version are insane 0 Quote
CarcrashBandicoot Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Trip hop is like FKA Twigs or The Weeknd or BANKS... how is Burning Desire anything like that genre? I'd love if she did more stuff in the style of BANKS but she probably won't (even though Goddess was such a great album.... ughhh) 0 Quote
