reputation Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 So there's no thread or mention of Aaliyah on here, I'm shook. Aaliyah, gone but never forgotten. A legend, an icon, an artist. What are your favorite songs from her? Favorite performance, album? If you don't listen to her I'd suggest it RIGHT NOW. 3 Quote

reesedelrey Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 ive never listened to her, kinda seems like a walmart version of tinashe though Other way around boo. Tinashe has nothing on Aaliyah and only dreams of coming close to her legacy... 6 Quote

HEARTCORE Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 More Than a Woman was such an amazing song. I imagine she would've been competing with Beyonce if the tragedy had not happened, she would have been SUCH a massive star + it's a real shame she was taken from us just as she was beginning. 2 Quote
reputation Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 @ she would have been WAY more popular than Beyonce. If she never went on that plane should would have been today's Beyonce 2 Quote

comeintomybedroom Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 ive never listened to her, kinda seems like a walmart version of tinashe though I literally love Tinashe, but this is just so disrespectful. Aaliyah was a pioneer for like new age R&B. She was doing Tinashe before Tinashe's sixth grade graduation. 2 Quote

everymanhashiswish Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Heard Aaliyah (2001) for the first time in April this year after listening to Are You That Somebody last year... Pretty much been stuck in a loop of her discography since then. I still haven't heard a few tracks from her first record. Some of my fav tracks: Never givin' up, No days go by, Loose Rap, I Don't Wanna, Rock The Boat, More than a woman, I need you Tonight, Where could he be, Journey To The Past, Turn The Page, If Your Girl Only Knew, Come Back In One Piece, messed up, it's whatever, One in a million, I care 4 U, Back & Forth, I Am Music, choosey lover, at your best you are love 0 Quote
