Madrigal Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Ah! I was just wondering what she is whispering toward the end. You should add in the 2.0 lyrics in a different color, where they split. 1 Quote
James19709 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Isn't it "My man the best 'cause he knows what's up"? 4 Quote

MotelHoney Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I always hear 'construction king', I suppose as his day job? 0 Quote
eternixy Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Okay, can we bump this? Is it gangster action king, or construction king? Is it Ruby Tuesdays or Citco, or Citgo's, or "or sick oh"? I was looking up Citco, assuming it's a restaurant like Ruby Tuesdays, but it doesn't exist. I assume she's saying Citgo, like the gas station, but I'm not sure. 0 Quote

Auto-Tuned Loon Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I like your ultra-violent swing I like your ultraviolence's wing 5 Quote A bad sample, repeated often with unwarranted glee.
Trash Magic Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I hope this is on the next album in some form!! 5 Quote "It's 2011, and we should all be aware of exactly how fast technology is developing" - Lana Del Rey
Jazzmin Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Ah! I was just wondering what she is whispering toward the end. http://lanaboards.com/public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/tongue.png Me too, damn, I'm dumb I'm afraid :< . Though I thought no matter what she was singing, it was sung in a pretty beautiful way. 0 Quote And the wind I know it’s cold
CarcrashBandicoot Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Did anyone else thing that she's gonna rename this song as 'Ultraviolence' and that'll be the title song!? God, I have a whole lot of wishful thinking... </3 Anyway, the ultra-violent thing made me wonder... 0 Quote

Greaser Prince Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I am preeeeetty sure it's "construction king". It's what I hear when I listen to the song, plus the lyrics to it on a Lana wiki also say "construction king" 0 Quote I am a shark, beware of my bark
evilentity Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I always hear 'construction king', I suppose as his day job? I am preeeeetty sure it's "construction king". It's what I hear when I listen to the song, plus the lyrics to it on a Lana wiki also say "construction king"I thought this already was the consensus opinion on this lyric. I'm surprised it hasn't been changed already. But yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just another example of Lana stretching a word into more syllables than it really is: CON-ST-RUC-TION KING. Generally speaking I think you'll find more reliable information on this forum than on any Lana wiki. But maybe not in this case. 0 Quote Stalking you has sorta become like my occupation.
HEARTCORE Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 the live version of this song is so heartbreakingly sad, it really puts a sombre perspective on it 2 Quote
Bae Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Humming the best, 'cause he knows what's up?? I'm pretty sure it's My man's 0 Quote
Anthem Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Wow so I just realized I've had the demo and final version of this song mixed up the entire time. I have been DMD'd again. Why does she insist on making these ultra-chill songs into upbeat chaos when they were already perfect 0 Quote Goddesses don't speak in whispers. They scream.
