lanaaddict Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 On the live performances, I believe it is an electric guitar (I apologize if I'm wrong..I'm crap with instruments lol). On the album it's strings/violins. For some reason, even though the album version is more epic and bigger, I really like the live version. The intro builds and builds. Also in the live version is drums on the chorus. I think the Maida Vale performance of Honeymoon is the only HQ we have of it, I'd love to know if there are anymore, this is pretty good I guess: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CLlw8ju_dQ 0 Quote
CatchTheBreeze Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 True, her live versions of "Honeymoon" are sooo much better than the album version! 0 Quote

WhiteHydrangea Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 She screws the song up in the bridge live, I mean, the instrumental is somehow better live but the album version of the bridge is heaven but that's cuz the vocals are perfect, lately she's not so good at high notes so I can't really blame her 0 Quote
analwinterofmylife Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 i wish she had at least some background strings, and harmony vocals with it tho... imo the live version is under produced.. with just guitar it makes it sound boring to me 3 Quote Instagram: pxpi_gringo

TheBoss Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I hope that in her next tour she goes for an orchestra tho, the intro with an orchestra would sound amazing 0 Quote
letsescapelizzy Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 little of topic, but my all time Lana fav intro, is still the violins and blakes guitar extended intro for Cola from a couple years ago now.. wow, time flys.. 0 Quote
gloomyharlow Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 It sounds better live. Sounds like a mix Dan would have done. Thank god she didn't start with Cruel World or Cola again. 0 Quote

She is starting with Cruel World (and then she does cola) She does Honeymoon after Born To Die, which means Honeymoon is the fifth song on the setlist check one of her recorded shows 0 Quote
Kommando Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I would love it if her backup dancers/singers would harmonize with her like the studio version. I just can't understand why they don't, it takes a lot away from the charm of the song. 0 Quote
