I don't know if you guys have seen the trailer for this beautiful look film, but I've been watching it for the past 20 minutes, because it's visually beautiful. The story seems really good too, I don't even know why I'm crying, it probably won't be as good as I'm expecting it to be. I need to see it now!

I sadly don't live near any of the screenings or I would go see it!   I'm thinking about preordering it though, you can on their website.

Sis I read some reviews, and if you plan on watching Closet Monster, be cautious. People have said it's really dark all the way through, but it's happy at some points. 

also the new james franco movie about gay porn... it looks really good 

I really want to see this movie too, but I feel torn. The main actor is literally from Teen Beach movie!

I've been wanting to see it so badly. I heard about it too late though and I ended up missing the limited theatrical release in my city.   It's already out in Canada and it won't be released in the U.S. until January 2017. It's been getting good reviews so far. The main actor was in season 2 of American Crime (which I highly recommend you watch by the way) where he played a college student that accuses another guy of drugging and sexually assaulting him. His acting was solid in that show, so I'm excited to see him in this one.

I finally got around to just watching it, and it was soooo good. I cried a lot, and although it didn't end like I wanted it to, I really loved it. I like how it's not just a "love story." They really twisted it around, and I was shocked. I related to this movie a lot, and I think I'm going to watch it again. Everything towards the last few minutes went completely over my head (especially during that LDR - Freak extra slow motion scene) 10/10

saw this today. very good film with a stunning cinematography & an amazing soundtrack! i really liked the realistic, non-fairytale-but-still-uplifting ending, and all the magical realism and symbolism! though i'm still not quite sure what Wilder's deal was: was he gay but not out yet, bi/pan, just a good friend? regardless, i loved it when he went to grab the bottle of water for Oscar when he realized he was on X, it was heartwarming and showed he truly cared about him. aaaah, i'm getting mushy now. (also: can't believe a pet hamster nearly made me cry, lol)

 

anyway, Stephen Dunn should have thanked Xavier Dolan seeeeveral times in the credits. like, he even cast a Schneider!
