graham4anything Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 as it appears she is announcing just a few days/week prior to concert- Please post any news on the NYC or vicinity show here CONCERTS OCT. 23 AND 24 TERMINAL 5 NYC (a Monday and Tuesday) Edit to add- October 23, 2017 show- Was my 3rd favorite show of Lana's I have seen (out of approx. 20) (After Jiffy Lube in North Virginia (DC area) on the Endless summer tour and the CT stop on the tour before Great voice, great having 13 Beaches start the show (It's a great opener) her perfect acoustic Love, and the unplanned Get Free (now if only she did the song I yelled out for (Coachella) which I believe elicited a smile from her, though can't be sure) and great remarks about her life/women and a "Change" coming in, right before she did "Change" Here are the Set lists, getting too old for two amazing shows in two days SET LIST OCTOBER 23, 2017 Show 1 Terminal 5 NYC 1 13 Beaches (perhaps best opening song ever, fits perfect w/ the spoken word by Candace Hilligoss (from Carnival of Souls) recitation 2 Diet Mountain Dew 3 Cherry 4 Shades of Cool (Best vocals I have heard from her on this song live) 5 Blue Jeans 6 Born to Die 7 White Mustang 8 Lust for Life 9 Music to watch girls by 10 Ultraviolence 11 Ride 12 Change 13 Love (incredible) 14 Video Games 15 Summertime Sadness 16 Get Free 17 Off to the races Show 2- Terminal 5 NYC Oct.24, 2017 1 13 Beaches (again, this might be the best song ever to open a show, it works perfectly. She should bring Candice Hilligoss,(from Carnival of Souls) who is alive and well and living in California to a show.) 2 Diet Mountain Dew 3 Cherry 4 Shades of Cool 5 Chelsea Hotel #2 Great and a reminder for the Leonard Cohen tribute Nov 6 in Montreal 6 Pretty when you cry WOW!!! 7 Blue Jeans 8 Born to Die 9 White Mustang 10 Lust for life (again, works really well solo, a song of affirmation) 11 Music to Watch Boys By 12 Change 13 Ride 14 Love 15 Video Games 16 Summertime Sadness 17 Off to the races 0 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp

Allforfame Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 How much would the tickets go for? I saw the San Francisco tickets priced at $59.50, so I assume they would be around the same range? 0 Quote

deepseagemini Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Anyone knows if I'll get the presale access if I pay with a canadian card and address? I don't recall getting one for the Cali shows eventhough I had made a purchase... thanks sis 0 Quote
graham4anything Posted August 10, 2017 Author Posted August 10, 2017 crowded, hot, bad sightlines... and I am not sure if underage is allowed, one should check before making purchases (and all people need ID of course) general admission almost all standing (though they have some seats on the 2nd/3rd level but it changes per show as they have different set-ups think they have room for 3000 (so its a lot larger than House of Blues) No smoking in the club, however, one can actually go rooftop and smoke (though I bet that is VIP only) 1 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf.
