FirstSpider 317 Posted March 17, 2014 So, I've been meaning to make this post for about a year now and I'm finally getting around to it. Starz had this AMAZING, but incredibly under appreciated show called Magic City for a while. I've never met anyone else who knew it, but it was the only show I watched religiously. I actually waited with baited breath for every episode. It takes place in Miami, 1959 and it's absolutely beautiful. I think Lana would have loved it. It's about this guy who runs a hotel, gangsters, prostitutes, dancers, drugs, sex, illegal weapons deals, Ike's family, gambling, the Cuban revolution and a whole slew of other things. It's really beautiful to look at, but at the same time there's so much dark stuff happening. The second season got a hell of a lot more interesting. Give both trailers a watch. It's really worth it.
