Hi, amateurish teenage singer here. I'm in my late teens and have been singing since I was 7 or 8, and ever since I discovered Lana I've incorporated her into a lot of what I sing. 

Do you find it hard to duplicate her sound or easier?

I don't think anyone can really duplicate Lana's sound. There's a resonance to her low notes and a girlishness to her high notes that can't really be captured by anyone else, try as anyone might. She really is her own thing. 

What type of sound do you think Lana Del Rey has?

I think "Hollywood Sadcore" describes her really well.

Describe your vocal range, how would you say it sounds?

My vocal range is E3-F5. I've covered Million Dollar Man and Shades of Cool pretty successfully in bars and at karaoke nights, but I've never recorded and uploaded myself. Too shy. 

If Lana covered Tell Me What To Swallow, I'd be so happy. It's got the same vulnerability that Lana expresses in many songs.

This is sort of misheard lyrics so.... tbh for MONTHS after shades of cool came out I didn't hear the "hot, hot neglectful lover" part covered by the loud instrumental, I always just thought it was her making random noises "aaAAaaaa~" oh god rip

I always thought she was saying "weather in the summer" ... though that part isn't easily distinguishable I guess.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but I feel like Million Dollar Man is about K. Since we can assume K is a criminal, and the man in Million Dollar Man is someone Lana describes as "screwed up and brilliant", it seems to make sense. Just a thought though.
