  1. i'm so happy to finally hear it in completion. i really appreciate how raw and personal she gets in this. i feel like you learn more about her with this album than you ever did with all of her 6 past albums. but sometimes she speaks so fast she almost sounds out of breath (rap album next?). and the instrumental can be a little loud at some points but other than that it's great. honestly i'd love to just fall asleep to this album, her voice is so soothing<3

  2. literally what did that post do to help the Black Lives Matter movement? seriously show me. because i just can't seem to find it. i'm genuinely asking. why are some of you sighing in relief? the post was useless and does more harm than good

at least it proves she's out there doing something that makes a difference and not just chilling at home. she could've done more but honestly i wouldn't even expect that of her at this point

  3. Well, i'm getting off of this. I hope things are more stable when I come back later.

Also, this George guy was a robber. Why should Lana say something about him? Just bc he died and was a poc? He pointed a gun to a woman!

Well, I just hope Lana's fine and that people here understand her pov. Period.

    :awk:

wtf? he didn't just die he was brutally MURDERED. and if a white man did the same thing he'd NEVER get the same treatment from police

  4. Zara made some points, was it REALLY necessary for Lana to make an entire post about how there's no room for 'frilly' feminists? Then again, free speech and all so Lana can post what she wants. But you can still agree with Lana as well as disagree, not everything has to be black and white, one or the other. I think that was Zara's take on it anyway

i think lana was originally questioning the radfem movement but failed to get that across. she really shouldn't have started her post with "question for the culture"

  5. her name-dropping artists was SO unnecessary. there's no way she read through her letter before posting and went "yup, sounds good". i get her points, but it's like it's purposefully written to be misinterpreted.
