  1. She will sing the whole FN (it lasts just 37 minutes lol) and from DL1 i'd like these: New Rules (Initial Talk Remix), IDGAF (Initial Talk Remix), Lost In Your Light, Blow Your Mind, Begging, Hotter Than Hell, she will also sing Electricity and One Kiss since they're the songs that marked the path for FN and I'd kinda like her to sing Want To and Sugar

also she should open the shows with the version of Physical that they used in the workout video that samples NR

I was thinking she should do physical as a final act before the encore with the workout intro... followed by new rules

  2. With the sound of FN and DL being so different what do people think the tour setlist will be like? Also I demand that she performs ball and chain lol

  3. i love the song and the video!!! each get better the more i listen/watch. keep in mind i only listened to the leak once. i feel like we really haven't seen gaga dance since ArtRave so i'm happy

kinda similar how britney's work bitch wasn't her best but we got our life anyway because "SHE WAS ACTUALLY DANCING AGAIN"

if the song is any indication of what chromatica will sound like, i'm EXCITED

Didn’t she dance a lot during the Joanne world tour? I remember thinking her dance skills seemed a lot better than artrave given she seemed to be in better shape

  4. It’s an alright song. The video is probably her most mediocre. Aesthetically it just feels like a regression. But I guess with enigma we could’ve seen this coming. Either way I’m excited for the new album.

  5. I know they can be LGBT. But I strongly, HIGHLY doubt that anyone is referring to trans women. Since, you know, that almost never happens for 99% of people/.

yeah but isnt it simply implied?? im a woman who's trans. im in a heteronormative relationship and some of Lanas music really resonates with me.

  6. wel

I never stereotyped or pigeonholed gay men as "arbiters of style and taste" so I don't know why you're using quotation marks. This is a conversation about pop music and gay men so obviously culture is going to be brought up.

I feel like you're chastising Lana for feeling connected to a demographic she's a part of and criticising it as "cis-privileged white female apologist" despite me never mentioning white or cis, just women. Women are allowed to have a sense of community too.

Fwiw I do think it would be nice if she made a more direct acknowledgement of her lgbt fanbase but I see nothing wrong with wanting to be connected to fans who aren't gay men too.

well said. I agree with this. also like love to point out that numerous amounts of women are a part of the LGBT community

what about the LBTQ people though? we don't deserve to be slighted.

women can be LGBT. her mentioning women in her fan base means just that. she didn't say "straight women" The LBTQ in LGBT is primarily women and just because she didn't explicitly mention LGBT or posture with identity signifiers its implied by her simply just saying women.

  8. lol who's to say that like young w

I was watching Lana's most recent interview (https://youtu.be/B3ezfOlDajM?t=68), and she was asked about why she believes her music connects with her fan base. She focused her response on her connection with young women, and I found it odd and sort of dismissive. Like many female celebrities, Lana's career has been supported by a diverse fan base but especially the LGBTQ+ community. Gay men/queer-identifying folks in particular have been some of her most vocal (and rabid) supporters, but it seems that there have been multiple instances wherein she has defined her "fans" as young (white) girls.

I know there's a select few male fans she always takes pics and has a special connection with, but in general it seems as if she wants to depict her supporters as one type of group, and it makes me feel a little icky.

    What do you guys think?

*Obviously, if I watch/read her interviews and am on this forum, I am a HUGE fan and love her, so don't read this as

who's to say that her saying young women doesn't also mean lesbians, trans women, bi women etc. not everything has to be about gay men every second of the day. also I wouldn't read that deeply into it.

  9. okay so upon first listen I love it over all. my only critique would be that there isnt much diversity in sound when it comes to the solo charli songs

    fave tracks:

    gone

    next level charli

    cross you out

    silver cross

    click

    2099

    1999

mod note: user was warned for this post

  11. charli's team thinks she can release a lead single from an album a year before its release with no follow-up single and still expect people to not be tired of the single and for the album to do well

    love dasha. funny girl.

  12. Bernie is also going to be running... Kamala cop Harris is a total repeat of Hilary. if I were to really push for someone it would be tulsi despite her Neo-liberal policies and pandering. or obviously Bernie if the Democratic Party doest start spewing some kind of weird centrist rhetoric against him. lets see how this goes ladies and gays.

  13. hey.. would anyone happen to have a rip of the audio from her Coachella 2015 performance?I have seemed to lost the zip file.  i'm working on making a drive with her live perfomances, stems, instrumentals, unreleased material and would love if someone could send it to me? or post a link!

  14. honestly im kind of annoyed that come to my party is being released with 1999. 1999 is cute and can stay but like to release come to my party is weird, the song is super dated and kind of immature in a not fun way. I hate the like arcade vibe it has and I honestly think that she's like grown out of that with the kind of music she makes. like I get the tasteless Stan gays want it, but she should just release a mixtape with her b-sides and keep putting put newer tracks that fit more with her current image and musical direction. ill still stream tho  :hooker:

also.. can charli's label like let her go on tour ? she has the audience and pull to play venues like terminal 5, club Nokia, maybe even a few festivals and allow her to perform the songs that she's currently making she literally should never perform fancy again in any setlist, maybe as some segue or interlude into another song but its whack. idk I really love her as an artist but it sucks to see her not have any space to create a vision outside of the internet. it seems to be like that for most artists now ugh

  15. chollie needs to release Daddy Knows  :trisha:

She could've released it in 2016,But I think she's sonically matured past that song tbh. as well as a lot of others that people keep wanting to have released  :hooker:  (good girls, come to my party, hey boy hey girl.)

as a double single.. with good girls

Good Girls / Daddy Knows ........ a concept  :teehee:

    not in 2018 sis
