Radiohead Sues Lana for Copyright Infringement on "Get Free"
CatchTheBreeze replied to reputation's topic in Latest News
Not if she'd sue someone for copying a melody she hasn't written herself in the first place. It's just a dumbass move by Radiohead/their label. And how much money can they possibly make here? GF ist 1/16 of the album, it's not a single, has no video (the YT video isn't uploaded by Lana but by a normal user so the royalties of that streams won't go in her pocket anyway), won't be played on the radio or live (sadly), has a lot less streams than most other songs on LFL. We're not talking about some million $'s here I'd say (but I don't know ofc). And a part of this will go to Hazlewood/Hammond anyway... It's a lose-lose situation as someone wrote here earlier on. I hate it since two of my friends already mailed me the "news" already - and they normally won't send me anything Lana related... -
Radiohead Sues Lana for Copyright Infringement on "Get Free"
CatchTheBreeze replied to reputation's topic in Latest News
Yes I'm really surprised that no one in Lana's team pointed out the similarities while they were recording the song. Would have been easy to change some parts of the melody, just to be safe. Anyone from Rick Nowels to the band to the people of the label could have noticed it and should've talked to her about it. So either they did and Lana refused to change anything or all of those people were just hoping the similiarities will go by unnoticed... -
Radiohead Sues Lana for Copyright Infringement on "Get Free"

I'm really starting to dislike Radiohead now... I'm a great fan of their early albums (#2 and #3), but now I'm actually having trouble enjoying their music. Btw Radiohead should stop sueing other artists and start writing good music with memorable melodies again, like they did in the 90's. -

I just started off 2018 with "Salvatore". So this will be a good year for sure. -

MTV (Next Music Video, Tour, & ‘Cola’) - October 28th, 2017 [Video]
CatchTheBreeze replied to Elle's topic in New Interviews
I really enjoyed this interview – Lana looks so relaxed in it. I hope the new video will come through … actually a clip for "Get free" would probably be more interesting since "Cherry" is more of the typical Lana stuff. "Get free" could be a different style for her. -
I love Marina even more after reading this!

What song(s) got you interested in Lana?
CatchTheBreeze replied to Doll Harlow's topic in Lana Thoughts
In may 2010 I came across the demo version of "Diet Mtn Dew" on YouTube – I liked it (a bit) and thought it was quite interesting and send it to some friends of mine. Early 2011 I saw "Kinda outta luck" and liked it even more, but it wasn't before "Video games" came along that Lana really caught my attention and convinced me. -
For those of you looking for general admission (Arena/Stehplatz Innenraum) tickets for the Berlin concert (which are sold out at most of the ticket vendors) – here's one who still has some on offer: http://www.zkv-muenchen.de/lana-del-rey-la-to-the-moon.html
-
Yes tickets are on sale since friday but they're selling pretty well it seems, it's almost sold out there – here are some for Italy: http://www.ticketone.it/lana-del-rey-biglietti.html?affiliate=ITT&doc=artistPages/tickets&fun=artist&action=tickets&kuid=474503

Well it's a demo so what did you expect? I really love the song! (and I like the "rawness" of the sound too)
-
The general admission floor tickets for Berlin are sold out now (after 4 days), wow. As much as I hate these huge arenas it's nice to see that Lana's doing well over here in Germany.

Mylène was my favourite artist for over a decade (until Lana arrived... ). I even administered the german fan site for several years and had the luck seeing her 3 times on her Mylenium tour in 2000. Those were really magical moments. I'm a bit sad her music went downhill since "Innamoramento".
-
Probably would've been better anyway if she had chosen smaller venues. They fit her music and "show" way better than those mega arenas (which I hate).

Try this link - presale seems to work: https://www.teleticketservice.com/en/tickets/2017-2018/lana-del-rey-la-to-the-moon-presale

Nah you can already get your ticket. Just bought mine! ("just" 75 € for the staning ones which is a lot cheaper than the US gigs).
-
Yes now I've got it!

Not yet...

Maybe the 11 am time is british time? Would be +1 hour for me (so in 24 mins).

I hope so too. But I didn't receive my code yet...
