    Hollywood star Nicole Kidman, singer FKA Twigs and David Thewlis are the latest stars to join Danny Boyle’s theatre production, The Children’s Monologues.

     

    They join an all-star cast that already includes Benedict Cumberbatch, James McAvoy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kit Harington, Josh Hartnett, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and more.

     

    The play, inspired by 15 children from rural parts of South Africa, will tell their stories as part of a special, one-night only production.

     

    Academy Award winner Boyle will be hosting the production in aid of his arts charity, Dramatic Need.

    I have a pro-ject elemental which I love (it's a little pricey), I've heard audio technica are good and there's cheaper ones. Basically you get what you pay for, hope that helps a bit  :)

    yeah i basically got that cheap crosley bc it was my first and i wasn't too familiar w/ turntables and all. i know what the first thing im going to buy after my bf and i buy a house  :D

    I've bought LP1 on vinyl twice (the first copy, the record sleeve fell on top of it and left weird blue marks all over it) and haven't had that issue!  Edited because my bf just informed me that our record player is Really Good and maybe that's why it plays better.  Lol. 

     

    Yeah if you have a crosley it's probably not the record skipping  :creep:

     

    what kind of record player do you have? If its a Crosley thats probably why. I thought my UV box set vinyl was bad bc it skipped a ton, but it turned out to be my Crosley, got a new player and the record plays flawlessly.

     

    *if you do have a crosley, the reason for the skipping is probably because it has built in speakers and when loud parts of the song starts playing it will skip due to the speaker vibrating (just a personal observation)

    yeah man i have a shit record player that skips so many great vinyls that i was sure are great and u guys just conformed my doubts. what turntables do u guys recommend?

    just remembered something -- my friend whos a huge fan of twigs, saw her live twice i think, has a cousin who used to dance with her in london a few years ago, before she was out there

    Is buying EP2 on vinyl really worth it?

    both LP1 and EP2 on vinyl suck. they both skip a lot, can't listen to a single song without it skipping

    would you mind sending me the b-sides? i have the Y ep as well which is just 4 remixes of it and the original song.

    So we kind of talked about favorites already (don't worry, we're coming back to that topic when then album is out ;)), but what is everyone's least favorite song?

     

    For me it's "b" I think... After that would be "in due order" or "u-1" probably.

    u-1 isn't really a song though.. maybe tap your glass? idk yet...

    I listened through their entire discography on shuffle last night and GOSH I just love their music so much. Definitely one of my best discoveries of 2014.

     

    "chasing kites" is my favorite song they've released as of now. What is everyone else's ultimate fave?

    Idle Talk, T, N, Y, and Goods!!!! 

     

    how can you not love T? its amazing. its my second top played by them after Idle Talk

    Starting to make my October playlists and Night Time, My Time is just filling them up :legend: Idk why but I've thought since it was released that NT, MT goes perfect with the beginning of fall, Halloween, and 80s horror movies.

    I have no clue why, but I almost wish the album cover was a plain blue square with the tracklist tacked in the cover now :flop:

    yeah, i kinda don't like the fact that its different from the first two, but i kinda do at the same i dont know? 

     

    guys, does anybody else have a feeling that after BLUE they'll take a break or something? i feel like thats gonna happen and its kinda not cool :(

    iam must be the bridge in our tastes...I'd try it with the other albums except kin bores me apart from standouts Idle Talk and Goods :xcry:

    ok so i just read the full tracklist order, and apparently theyre releasing them in the same order in the album. so shadowshow is apparently the last single ((((i think))) bummer, i really wanna listen to that. also does anybody know what the song at the end of the blue trailer is? i really wanna listen to that too!!!

    ive been listening to them while painting and its safe to say i started off with Idle Talk being my favorite and i will end it that way. i think thats my favorite song of theirs. i cant wait for the new album ugh

    fuck november feels so far away ugh. do you guys think they'll release the rest of the songs or just one or two? i feel like they might just release two before the album gets released but idk man i just cant wait uGH
