  1. • Please, does anyone knows the name of the 2014 Swedish radio + original interview link + most importantly the date of the interview refered to as "China Palace" kindly provided by @@Rafael? It's speculated to have been recorded on the day of the Bravalla Festival, but it would be good to have a certain source and date for this.

    Radio station: P3

    Original Interview Link: http://sverigesradio.se/sida/avsnitt/388300?programid=4067

Date of Interview: June 26th 2014

Link to the original audio file got removed after 30 days or due to copyright according to the page though unfortunately. Even tried looking it up on Wayback Machine but to no prevail. Good thing I extracted it in due time I guess, hope it helps  :)

  2. honeymoon, really? the moon obsession saga continues  :teehee:

    inb4 pale moonlight lyrics :troll:

jk. this sounds legit exciting and im already aboard the hype train. not so worried about only 9 tracks, bcuz paracosm by washed out was the same that way and its my favorite album to date

i really do want an upgrade on the live performance front though. please no BtD/Paradise songs unless its something new. spoil us with UV/Honeymoon stuff. we've waited long enough :icant:

  3. I remember for the short time we lived together in NYC, I used to come home from work and see the entire wall of our studio apartment covered in weird tropical backdrops from the Party City store. There would be tinsel everywhere and streamers taped to the walls and I was furious because it looked like the most bizarre amateur movie set, plus I was worried for your sanity because I couldn’t see where you were going with all of it. Looking back though, your obsession with strange nick knacks and Hawaiian embellishments were like little hints of colors to come for future sounds and videos.

Yeah, of course I remember those days. You hated my electric fishtank which gave me endless amusement. (She winks!)

For the record, I loved that fish tank, you gave it to me for my 19th birthday. I believe the inadvertant theme was ‘Chinatown.’ Now, I know you don’t love to talk about this because journalists have sort of mythologized your past but let’s talk about the trailer park you lived in for a few years- I shot you there when you were 22 and continued to shoot you there for a couple years while you were writing and entertaining and wrapping up your album with David Kahne. You were so sweet and happy that you had your very own place to write and reside in, and extra money from that $10,000 indie contract. It was also a sad time for you because you separated from Steven Mertens who had originally produced that record and who was your boyfriend at the time. I don’t really have to ask you this because as your sister, I think I already know, but would you say this was your most enriching time as an artist and happiest time in New York (despite the split from Steven.)

    [smile] Yes.

omg the fishtank. i remember it making its infamous cameo exit in the gramma #4 vid. although in the video we kinda get more of mr. carney  :creep:

btw, chuck should do interviews more frequently. my lizzi gramma trailer park heaven obsession just got bigger  :flutter:

  4. lel at that mention for my bittersweet lb arrival~ (it worked)  :icant:

no but umm, i aint got much to say but lucifer's eyes is one of my most played songs atm. those steel drums had me at my first listen (giving me them the xx-reunion feelings which im a total sucker for). in low light is kinda meh, but heaven is a grower for sure!

  5. i was gonna start this thread a while back ago but i was afraid there wasn't enough interest. regardless, she's one of my top new artists atm and my favorite tracks are 5am and lost in the girl.

the ep is available for free here guys so dl now while u still can. its super good  :)

btw she's releasing new music this week  :legend:

  6. has someone ever contacted that twitter account that shared a link of OTTR demo

Yeah, I asked @@Madrigal to do it for me over a year ago because my Twitter account was still protected at the time and it looks like other people have tried as well. Doesn't look like anyone's had a response.

I tried to DM him last december, but I still haven't gotten a reply back from him. I gave up my hopes a while back ago, sadly. The search goes on~

  7. I read about half of Digital Fortress but that was years ago and it didn't really interest me. I really want to read it now though, but I have some books to read before I can go on with that. :agree:

Can you believe it took me a full year and a half to finally grab my hands on it and finish it? I LOVED the book. Almost as nearly as much as The Lost Symbol. Started reading Inferno instantly after I was done and I'm almost done reading it as well! I only have like hundred pages left, but so far I'm not disappointed. Can't wait for the movie to come out next year! I was unsure the other Dan Brown books would exceed my expectations after I finished the first one, but now I've come to realize I really enjoy every single chapter of them all. I love reading during the summer, it's so refreshing (and I'm usually the series/gaming/computer nerd kinda guy, ha).
