    She really released the worst album of 2024… Cute tracks but nothing really standouts imo. Midnight is way better. Taylor needs to go on hiatus and reinvent her sound because there hasn’t been any artistic growth since the folklore/evermore era.

    I don't get people who are complaining about Lana not performing enough upbeat songs? The first half of the setlist was only upbeat songs like West Coast, Doin Time, Cherry... the second half had ballads and slower songs which makes it balanced. Did you guys really expect her to sing Summertime Sadness remix or something? Be ffr :toofunny: Anyways, her performance was immaculate. Hopefully the mic issues will be fixed for weekend 2.

    There are a few reasons:

    1. Most fans were expecting a "revenge album" with a big rollout/production/budget, after she responded to the accusations regarding glamorizing abuse and cultural appropriation 

    2. It was released too close to Chemtrails, and it felt rushed

    3. Majority of the songs are ballads

    4. It's the album with the most leaked/unreleased songs (Dealer, Thunder, and the UV outtakes)

     

    Personally I think the album it's her worst, but still a good body of work though. She should have waited until 2022 to release it; including a couple more new songs (Loved You Then and Now), at least one high budget music video, and a decent photoshoot (I love the album cover but the other pics are average)

    Really want her to experiment with Lasso and do something more psychedelic and country rock rather than generic country music… But I have a feeling we’re just going to get a continuation of the sound she teased with Chemtrails. Hopefully it’s just not that and we’ll get a bit of everything. I’d love for her to record more songs similar to Sirens! That’s kinda the vibe “Henry, Come On” is giving:flutter: We shall see

    SZA has never shown respect towards Lana. She doesn't like her. Why would Lana stand up for her? She was the first person to criticize her after the Question for the Culture post... Olivia on the other hand is always thanking Lana, giving her flowers, and saying how much of an influence she is... Good job Ms. Rodrigo <3 At least you don't need a BBL and playback vocals to be relevant
