  1. https://littleboyvelvet.bandcamp.com/album/sure-feels-like-hell SURE FEELS LIKE HELL is a track I made today and it really resonated with me in a very "final" way I couldn't quite explain. I dropped it as a single planning an album, but that "final" just wouldn't go away. So I did a compilation album to finish the decade, and it's called... well.... SURE FEELS LIKE HELL In picking the tracks from my four albums, I went less on the lyrics (which are mostly just my poetry anyway), and focused more on the soundscapes and how they correlated with the feelings and viewpoints that come through in my words. A lot of the imagery is nostalgic, often melodramatic, a bit self-aware and sarcastic (especially when it comes to my not-so-perfect vocals.) I also kept in mind the ones that got the most positive responses from comments and reviews factoring to that, too. Little Boy Velvet, to me, is just a very cartoony representation of my expression of being a queer millennial and reflecting on how much has changed around me over the decades since being a farmboy in Amish country in rural Ohio to an aimless gay married man outside of Seattle. It's a way to channel my anxiety and fears into a soundscape that makes it feel... better. I'm just hoping it comforts others the way it does me. Music is fucking magic. Please feel free to rate it! Review it! Thanks so much!!!

  3. My fourth album is here early for super favorite forums I frequent! (It goes on steaming platforms and such September 27th.) https://littleboyvelvet.bandcamp.com/album/cold-brew To gauge an idea of what the album is, it was very spur of the moment, but I hope you guys dig it. Please leave feedback if you don't though, because I really thrive off of and build off of criticism.
  4. If you could give this 4.5 minutes of your time, its tracks 1-9 from COLD BREW! Gonna have it up by September 27th! And the album cover:
  5. For perspective, if it keeps at this pace, it'll be in that sites top 100 albums of all time.
  6. ' Well, that changed. No. Not the last sentence. The first one. This actually has led into a bigger project, and I now have another single out for it (the "single" itself is technically only the first 3 minutes, with the rest being an interlude on the album.
  7. I am in love with this dude's stuff. Holy cow.
  8. Interscope: "We'll only release it if you have Doin' Time on there."
  9. Wait is the video on something else? Its still saying 13 hours left and whatnot for me.
  10. lol if it were real the booklet slip wouldn't be smaller than the pegs that can actually hold it.
  11. https://littleboyvelvet.bandcamp.com I'm in the era for my fourth album coming soon (my visual is floral and shit), and the only single released from it thus far is up ("Under the Plants".) The albums are Abercrombie Dreams, pseudoBALLAD, and Canine Vision (which is my third and most recent.) I would really be grateful for your thoughts. It seriously helps me grow in my creative processes. https://littleboyvelvet.bandcamp.com/album/abercrombie-dreams https://littleboyvelvet.bandcamp.com/track/under-the-plants-and-under-the-wheel-in-the-sky
  12. I've only read the lyrics and am basing sonically on the snippets Lana has shared over time, but... I'm currently just jotting down notes for my eventual album review (just analyzing the lyrics right now), and I wrote this: True, the name-drop of Kanye is absolutely insane, but the incredible feat is that Lana earns it. Maybe Kanye hasn’t said anything because she’s covered all her bases. It’s an incredible feat in this era of music to do, and yet here we are… the 2010s bookended by the two greatest albums within it by two artists who were supernaturally connected to me on a personal level (they are my favorite respective male and female artists of the decade, and have both held that title since 2014.) In a trying period of growth for myself and my generation, and the tribulations we have faced in a time where the background is literally in fucking flames (that album cover is genius), Kanye and Lana - in spite of their political differences - ying and yang the decade with their works of art.
  13. The fact the chorus of HIaB isn't recognized as one of her best in terms of lyricism is disappointing.
  14. I've always compared her to Dylan, but it was mostly me just saying this album was coming. I don't see how this doesn't solidify itself as a classic for this decade (I've only read the lyrics.) Start with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, end with Norman Fucking Rockwell. This is America.

  17. anne, dearie. You never seize to amaze me. You saved a piece of filmography from extinction, and I can now share it with everybody during the NFR period where it's most applicable! Seriously, thank you, sweetheart. And they say downloading others' art is a bad thing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And to the OP and all others who have asked, I've had so many requests for the video that the messages, emails, and shoutouts were starting to bleed together and I couldn't keep track. I've now got it back on YouTube for everybody to see!
  18. Some rumors about "Wild on You" being "Fuck It I Love You", where the chorus is now "wild on you baby, I get wild and fucking crazy like you never knew/wild and fuck it, baby, I love you".
