Like I pointed out, VG is the only song on LP1 that could be a hit.
-
Video Girl is the most hit-worthy song, it's catchy and she performed it on Radio 1. It's also my favorite so I won't even question it.
-
Can someone send me Eye to Eye? I have everything else that's available
-
I didn't even know that, my dreams are coming true!
-
Cancelled in favor of Video Girl as the next single?
-
Thanks for keeping up with the facebook Q&A Q1 in 2015, an actual single when the album drops or a week before. The record was finished this summer (final touches were done around July 2014). I believe Froot is a buzz single for radios to talk about for the rest of 2014 while she drops album hints.

Is there a zip file for her downloads yet? I'm broke.
-
It's premiering at her birthday party...doubtful that it'll be released before 6pm UK time
-
@, I wanted to make that joke at the show but I didn't get to go.
-
At least she is smart enough to get Charli at a reach for a hit single again. I wonder how long it too Iggy's ghost writers to pen that.
-
Twitter fans have made that up to give themselves a sense of community and she eventually agreed on calling them that. She didn't do it out of the blue.
-
We didn't even need confirmation past the end of summer tweet, summer is literally ending in 8 days and she said new music soon anyway.
-
It's from a Russian movie called Gloomy supposedly.

I use iCloud to save Marina's photoshoots (pathetic huh ) but I just keep normal iCloud to a 100 picture maximum.
-
You don't directly post to iCloud at all, it self posts nearly 100% of my photos without my input and I manually delete them. It's the same case for all iphone users.
-
I only listen to her collab with inc religiously. I still play LP1 every morning thiugh

I don't exactly agree since she didn't make a huge jump in her style and wasn't so adamant about her change in style either. She went from buzzing around everywhere (Brooke Candy, Grimes, Marina) until Fancy. Marina deliberately wanted her career slower to be successful but not an immediate sellout (even though she sold out with her singles).
-
I mentioned female empowerment. Charli herself said the record is 'pussy pop' and 'pop with a punk edge' and other things about uplifting the girls in her demographic through her brand of feminism, right?
-
I've never read of anyone here blindly agreeing with everything she does anyway...
-
@@782anonymous So now you're basically calling us simple minded for not taking a simple pop song with no connotation besides partying into consideration? I think you're honestly being too judgmental for no reason. Enjoy her older work if you dislike it instead of bashing our opinions. You are not better than any other fan because you're slightly older than us or you prefer her older music. When Charli purposefully tries to appeal to the 20something year old male crowd and fails to do so then we'll talk. Until then you can enjoy the pop music geared towards 15 year old girls learning about female empowerment.

The original use of the n word in your opening paragraph and the further explanation doesn't really excuse you from saying it. I'm well aware of the use of the word (being from Brooklyn and all...) but it's a better look overall if you don't use it here at least. And yes before you ask, I am black. Welcome to our Charli thread.

Marina, twigs, Bjork and those other artists were already on a career path to success (or already attained success) well before Lana. You can't attribute the style twigs created to Lana at all because she has been a dancer and singer working on music since 2007. Marina also blew up on tumblr but Lana has nothing to do with that besides the fact they were interchangeable as internet icons at some point.
-
She never actually wrote music geared to the 20 something's crowd either. She literally had been writing for the 14-22 year old crowd that experiences cutting class, trying drugs, etc. not the emotionally sensitive ballad crowd.
-
That comment is so sad, especially for a song about having fun.
