    At her show tonight, Lana filled in the missing names with “Amy” & “Whitney” such as her collarbone tattoo states

     

    Why did she leave the "for...and for..." lyric on the album blank if she sings "for Amy and for Whitney" live?

    She is so strange

     Well now I'm not sure what to think, considering she's capitalizing on this whole situation to get her music more attention. Either way, after watching this video, I feel more empathy for her, because I struggle with BPD as well. It's very easy to become really attached to someone, and have every aspect of their life affect you emotionally. It's understandable that Timothy would have done anything for Melanie bc she really valued her opinion, and just wanted to be liked by her. It's really disgusting that Melanie took advantage of their friendship and sexually assaulted her, knowing that Tim was in an emotionally vulnerable position.

    I always saw the alternative trinity as Marina, Lana, Charli (more specifically true romance Charli)

    Everyone has been so fucking messy...yes there is the possibility that Timothy was lying (for WHATEVER reason), and yes there is the possibility that she wasn't and MM did rape her. Either way, we can't ignore the fact that so many sexual assaults are never reported because the victim is too afraid to speak out, in fear of career suicide and being blackballed from every organization within their specific industry of work. And out of all the sexual assault cases reported (only 37% of all sexual assaults, btw), only 2-8% of victims are lying. Now put this case in context with all the other recent allegations of sexual assault coming forward. This is just clutter that collected along in the avalanche of sexual assault survivors coming forward. And yes, when I first read Timothy's tweet, I wasn't sure what to think, since there is that very small chance that she could have been lying. But not believing a survivor when they tell the truth happens a hell of a lot more often than survivors lying about their sexual assault.

    I keep feeling like MATD4 is gonna be her last album... I'm gonna cry so hard the day she announces her retirement (if that ever happens). She's such an important person to me and I don't think I'll ever find an artist that I'll love as much as her. In_My_Feelings.mp3 :rip:

    The only thing lacking from her is live vocals although sometimes I suspect when she actually gets rest and hasn't been drinking she sounds good to great

     

    This is honestly something that's always bothered me... her live vocals are not that good and lately she's just been using a backing track for everything. Like I love her songs and she has definitely proven herself as an artist/songwriter, I just want her to sound good live :awkney:

    I've said it before but I really prefer her more PC Music inspired work. I think she manages to make PC Music more accessible, while still keeping it quirky. I find it to be her most interesting and exciting stuff personally but I do think her True Romance stuff was incredible lyric wise. I'd love to see her do a kind of moody autotuned hip hop inspired album in the future (along the lines of Dreamer, Blame It On U, etc).

    Ooh yessss moody hip hop meets the darker songs on N1A and TR meets her iconic rap-talking
