I've thought about this but more in the context of how if XCX3 was never delayed, we never would've ended up with 2 mixtapes in one year (or a bunch of leaks but they are a very bittersweet blessing) On the other hand I really enjoy Charli's anthemic/reverb vocals from the Sucker era and would have loved to have heard her follow up. (Famous, Light It Up, Need Ur Luv, So Over You, Not In Love, Girls Thinkin' about Boys are standouts) it's stated in the interview someone posted a few pages back, and in Charli's tweet with the track listing from the one day mixtape

Wow I had no idea it was given the title of "best pop album of 2014" by Rolling Stone! I thought it received average ratings from critics! I like the production on most of the album, and her image was her own (not Atlantic's) but in a frustrated/rebellious way. I like how gutsy it was though, she really did that.

Me either ugh I wish she loved her bops as much as we do. Ever since she confirmed in an interview that she's never happy with what she does, it just sucks to see her move on quickly without the chance to release the music bc of her flop ass label. It's like the perfect storm; Charli moves on quickly and the label moves way too slow. ajhfkajfh Can You Hear Me does literally NOTHING for me, Taxi truly is that bop. I haven't listened to it in weeks though bc I don't wanna burn it out like I did with all her other music. I don't think she's officially moved away from that early Charli PC sound, but I really miss the feeling of it being fresh and new. It was like watching a caterpillar come out of metamorphosis. It was an amazing experience and it's been so sad to watch that era slip away.
