i know that drugs+dreamer instrumentals leaked for n1A, but are there any other instrumentals/acapellas that have leaked? i'm thirsty for lipgloss specifically

The instrumental for "Babygirl" leaked a while back too!

I mean, it’s a lot older than every other song on the mixtape, which is why A. G. said it sounded more like “old Charli.” She just sent them the acapella & A. G. & easyfun totally reconstructed it. Not sure if it was a Sucker outtake or from the Boom Clap sessions in 2012.

Okay, that makes sense because, sonically, it definitely reminds me of "Boom Clap" and "So Over You."

Don't @ me for this, but if I had to pick a least fave song from N1A, it'd be "Emotional." But only because I don't think it's lyrically as strong as everything else on the mixtape.

I still love it tho. I always think it'd be a killer Gwen Stefani song lmao.

As much as I see what you're saying and agree... Track 10 isn't exactly a "commercial cut." It's hard to say if the label would approve of a more experimental track like that on the album.

 

Not meaning to be negative, but I just don't really trust the label this era in allowing Charli to really do what she's been wanting to do, if you know what I mean. Their "stamp" is all over ATAP, and she was given Boys... all of the rad SOPHIE demos are in limbo or dead... the album is allegedly being "scrapped/rewritten..." It just doesn't seem like the label is 100% on-board.

 

They just seem a little too involved and like they're trying to steer Charli elsewhere. Somewhere hyper-mainstream. Sucks...

Oh, I was just talking about her being able to rework old songs and make them sound more PC-music in general. But I see your point tho.

"Blame It on Your Love" being reworked into the masterpiece that is "Track 10" gives me so much hope. Like, what if she decides to rework a bunch of her old unreleased non-PC music songs into bops and bangers like "Track 10"?

Even though people talk about how perfect "No Angel" is everyday in this thread, I feel like it would have been so damn flawless on Number 1 Angel, especially if it was somewhere between "ILY2" and "Emotional." Even the title contrast between Number 1 Angel and "No Angel" is perfect, like???

A wasted opportunity, tbh.

Upon first listen, I love POP2; it's totally all over the place in the best way.

I really think "Wanna Get Fucked Up?" and "Party for You" wouldn't have been too out of place on this mixtape tho.

I'm tired asf studying for finals and needed to distract myself w something, so here's a version of the POP2 cover where it doesn't look like she's on coke.

"Kiss My Beauty" is stuck in my head and—honestly?—I love it

I know people are praying that "Taxi" and "Round and Round" leak—trust me, I am too—but I hope that "Hey Boy Hey Girl" gets to see the light of day. That song is amazing, even though will.i.ain't is on it.

Honestly, this is one of my fave Charli features (aside from "Illusions Of" and "Crazy Crazy").

I'm somewhat new to Charli XCX but I really like the Vroom Vroom EP, specifically Vroom Vroom and Trophy. Does she any other songs like them? 

The drop in "Roll with Me" is reminiscent of the songs on the Vroom Vroom EP. As far as unreleased material goes, "TKO," "Bounce," "Down Like Whoa," and "Burn Rubber" could all easily have been on Vroom Vroom if you wanna check those out.

This is super irrelevant to anything discussed in the past few pages, but I just wanted to note how much this heaux loves singing about girls and boys in her music, like:
