RILO KILEY Rilo Kiley is an indie rock band made up of members Jenny Lewis (vocals, guitar), Blake Sennett (vocals, guitar), Pierre de Reeder (bass, keyboards) , and Jason Boesel (drums). Ok, so they may have broken up in 2011, but they are still one of the best female-fronted bands since Blondie tbh. Although you may recognize the lead singer as a child actress (Troop Beverly Hills, The Golden Girls, etc.), the band is best known for their incisive lyrics, fierce vocal stylings, deft guitar playing, melodic bass, and thunderous drumming. And they have just come out with RKIVES, a collection of unreleased tracks + b sides- and I still pray that they will one day reunite. I couldn't help myself from reading the spoilers and now I really want to see it in theaters, if not for the story to see the reactions of other ppl in the theater. Won't say anything too revealing but I'm not sure how to feel about what he was trying 2 say with the movie...kind of genius the way it was marketed though

Sometimes I think I can understand what Lana's thinking / her decisions re: her work but I genuinely don't understand Sky and I rly don't think she likes/ cares about her fans. Everyone I've spoken to who have gone to see her live has told me that she's awful.. I mean these are like cheap shows so if you can't make your set worth the $10 cover charge, what are you doing? And I know she's shy but so is Lana and she doesn't come off like a complete asshole. Sigh Sky is one of those ppl I want to like but also wanna slap at the same time </3

Favies: Gramma, Kill Kill, Raise Me Up (Mississippi South), Noir, Push Me Down, Boarding School, Dum Dum, & Born 2 Die Honorable Mentions: Never Let Me Go, My Best Days, Go Go Dancer, You're Gonna Love Me, Bel Air, You Can Be the Boss, Daddy Issues Ok that's a lot and they change sometimes but the first three are always my favorites. Gramma is my favorite Lizzy/Lana song of all time. I feel like it's a song that can't be duplicated, it stands alone. It's got a sweetness to it and it's also very vulnerable + desperate. The line "I wanna be the whole world's girl" will always stand out to me. Plus it reminds me of when I was a girl.. I think it gives everyone a nostalgic feel. I'm horrible at identifying instruments, but whatever that is in the beginning (trumpet?) is just These are all songs that I could listen to everyday and not get tired of whereas usually I have 2 take a break from other songs 2 fully appreciate em

Well, he isn't certifiably insane. His lawyers tried that defense but it was proven that TJ was faking. You can't just say ~I'm insane~ and everything be cool, it takes a lot of psychoanalytical testing and testimony from psychologists..and preferably there was a history of psychiatric treatment prior to the incident. Not all criminals are mentally insane. Some people are just inherently bad, imo. Or negative behaviors are learned. Aggression in juveniles is never a good thing + associated with violent tendencies. Get into criminology theories here- social learning/ disorganization,etc. but my point is that being a criminal, no matter how vile the act, does not always equate to mental insanity. I think people can seek redemption in themselves but it would be hard to do in prison..I think you just try to stay alive there..I guess that's why so many prisoners on death-row / with a life term become devout ..something to live for/ hope for afterlife? And I don't think there is any way he will get out on parole ever- he has as much of a chance as Manson

No offense, but it drives me crazy when people talk about "taxes" and the death penalty.. look up how much the death penalty costs and how much it costs to house a prisoner for life..the latter is substantially less. Torturing violates 8th amendment cruel & unusual punishment- death, of course, does as well but the U.S. overlooks that..matter of convenience when it comes to staying faithful to the BOR. Justice comes in the form of a life term- he'll never have a family of his own, he'll never travel, etc. His life is over. Read up on max security prisons- it isn't a cakewalk. Hell on earth and not good for a young boy like him (the term 'fish' comes to mind) (btw, not saying he shouldn't be in prison cos his sentence was 100% appropriate imo)

I don't believe in the death penalty.. and I think those Ohio boys deserve the same sentence as this kid. I think this boy should serve out his sentence and be studied. He apparently has no mental illnesses and was very smart. Criminology could benefit from a study on why relatively ~normal~ people kill.. cos it's always thought to be the mentally disturbed. Thesis idea~~ It's insane that his defense attorney allowed him to wear that.. hope the victim's family find peace one day. “This hand that pulled the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates to the memory. F*** all of you,” Lane said, addressing victims’ families. (Jesus Christ..apparently he was caught feigning mental illness?)
