all she needs to do is shake her body and deny a request to perform "Taxi" and the gays will piss themselves

I tried hunting for it, and I was able to find the broken YouTube link; The page exists on Wayback but the video itself hasn't been indexed/archived The lord really doesn't want this video to resurface...

when the time hits 0 and nothing happens, ala:

The M6 CD bundles look so good...

iirc she's talked about having control over her art, but then again, she's also discussed things like Atlantic sitting on FROOT forever and refusing to fund its mixing and photoshoot, the HTBAH video getting delayed because Atlantic thought she was ugly in it and wanted to make edits, Atlantic telling her to scrap 3 songs from EH's standard tracklist and getting her to scrap 2, Atlantic refusing Bubblegum Bitch as a single, etc. etc.

That Alexandra snippet wasn't the final. The snippet was a prize for the winner of a Tumblr contest promoting Old Habits Die Hard, before Unsolved started.

Putting a song under Cape God implies that you think it was recorded for Cape God If you're gonna sort unreleased into fanmade albums then you shouldn't refer to them like outtakes of her released albums!

What's your favorite Allie X song? Mine is BITCH!

I hate the artwork and I hate the collaborator choices; She went and disappointed me
-
It sends me that the dance she did in the old snippet was official choreography and not just something she was making up on the spot

No. They were taken from someone on her team
-
They're literally official original quality files with tags removed. Today's Cuca batch is every song that people got from someone on Melanie's team and were spreading for the past day.

Nobody has the full album. Just a batch of demos at varying levels of incomplete, some of which only having hooks, not being produced (like piano and vocals only ala Play Date demo), or only being instrumental. I'm not sure most of the songs were, at that point, ready for any kind of release!

Aside from the first 2 or 3 tracks, you can definitely listen to the songs on K-12 without thinking of the film's story. After "Class Fight" it's just a bunch of songs about real situations with school as a metaphor or theme that she retroactively tied together into a story. I.e. "Show & Tell" is clearly about the music industry, but it's about the staff of K-12 for story purposes. Cry Baby is the exact same thing but with childhood, it just feels different because that's a broader concept. With certain songs like "Nurse's Office" and "Recess", the film doesn't even really correlate. The lyrics of those songs tell a completely different story than what you see on screen. "Strawberry Shortcake" has a clear gym class inspiration which isn't present in the visual. Things like the magical Empath powers or characters like Ben, Leo, etc. are never so much as alluded to on the album. Maybe the album has just grown on me the past couple months, but I think it's overly hated for something that isn't even true!

Teddy Bear isn't canon either. Arts & Crafts would have seen the same fate as a random bonus track, and I think the 3 picks she made were more valid.
-
It's cute, but I feel like every one of the 16 tracks that made Cry Baby had a bigger reason to be there!
-
I kinda don't care much about AK-47.... Let's focus on leaking the full K-12 1.0 shoot in original quality.
-
That is not a thing that exists

Cry Baby was probably the first title she came up with, and it was the first one she teased in Jan 2014, but I assume she was trying a bunch of different titles in mid 2014 once she stuck to the "every song has a childhood theme with dark lyrics" concept When she mentioned Animal Crackers and the other titles on Tumblr, she used a gif of Shirley Temple holding a knife to someone's throat; She probably thought that was the perfect way to summarize the album concept

Papercut is a yikes, I think it would have been the least justified song for release out of all the K-12/AS tracks.
-
It does tho? And I see the lyrics of Eraser as implying an age gap in the relationship, like an older man taking advantage of Crybaby ("I'm too young for falling in love / Baby, you should know that / Anything you say, I'll believe it"). If that is the case, I think Teacher's Pet handled the topic MUCH much better.
-
Glue Stick slaps and would have added something to the album and film; Eraser is Teacher's Pet's inferior less morally correct counterpart
