Oh c'mon, it's been 9 years already without an album and every year she has promised something. It's not like people will only come here to say good things, there's not much to talk about someone who has released officially by her own (no collabs, no covers, no leaks) just around 28 songs since 2010 !!! (NTMT, As If EP, Ghost EP, Downhill, One, Obsession, 17) She is lazy, the whole "she has problems with her label" and "she's messy with her releases and a perfecionist" thing is super dumb at this point. Again, many other artists have had HUGE issues with their labels, even going to trials and whatnot, and still they have found ways to release stuff. JoJo released two mixtapes while she was waiting for the trial to finish her contract with her original label. Charli released two mixtapes while her debut album was under label hell, and then she released two other mixtapes because her label didn't want her to release an album after SUCKER. Sky is just... lazy. Maybe, as you said, she has super very hardworking during her Myspace days, she was very productive 2007-2013, but once during Masochism it seems like she just took everything for granted and didn't find a way to release music, she just kept waiting for her label to accept her stuff and release it.

Yup, sadly everything that Halsey said is true. But I agree, Sky don't come from a rich upbringing, but she had a bit of support by Michael Jackson somehow. Maybe not economically but contact wise.

She really gives me the feeling that she just doesn't know which sound is HER SOUND. She capture lightning in a bottle with the NTMT sound and now she's having a hard time trying to create something in line with that sound but at the same time not recreating it 100% exactly and trying to innovate and have a current sound at the same time. That's one big reason why she hasn't pressured a sophomore release, she is scare of a sophomore slump. Sadly, the longer she waits, the harder she might disappoint all the critics that are expecting a solid effort. Anyway, Slie Ferriera is a liar, a lazy artist and pretty mediocre at this point of her 13+ years musical career. But at least we all know that once the music is out, we will be happy and begging for more.

Just got my tickets to see them on May 18th in Monterrey, Mexico. Super excited. Saw them in 2016 in my city and they were amazing.

Then tell me why Sky hasn't been invited to this amount of festivals in prior years? During 2015-2019 she only did about one or two festivals. But right now she has been invited to perform in about 4 or 5. There is an album promo rollout going on.

The last time she had all these festivals was back in 2013, so yup, it's pretty much confirmed there's an album coming out this year.
