I'm praying that Pretty Dull appears on Masochism. I fucking adore the live recordings we got. I really hope she gets to release that NTMT remix someday, the title track is the best song on the album.

Unpopular opinion from this Little Ferrari: NTMT is overrated and overpraised mostly because it's a good debut album, but it's not THAT great. I think the overall praise comes from the fact that she finished the whole thing in mere weeks after 3 years suffering of label hell, and it's still overpraised because it's her only album and it's been 9 years since it got released. Don't get me wrong, I adore it and I do think it's a highlight from last decade's female alternative pop artists. But objectively it's not great as it's far from perfect technically and lyrically. But it's a really good debut.

Yeah, maybe the cover EP would've been good, a shame she was a coward and didn't release it. I think it was a safe bet that the final version of Voices Carry was part of the tracklist. We lost. One of our beloved trusted insiders here in LB shared with us that Sky was about to release an EP full of covers last year. Many LB users got angry at the fact of her releasing that cover instead of actual brand new songs and pushing back Masochism. Then, many of those users went to Instagram and started to drag her on the comments section of her latest post and other users asked her if that covers EP was real. At the end of the day many other IG fans started to attack her and some others started to defend her. Sky started to reply to MANY comments, and she had a feud with one of the users commenting. It was a huuuuuge drama. After how hard she was dragged and how anticlimatic the whole release was considering the awful pre-announce reception due to the information leak of the upcoming Covers EP, her label or herself decided to cancel the release. Around the same time, the same insider shared the writer demo for "Guardian" and revealed that she may or may not have written the song as she claimed.

Such an upgrade. I wouldn't have minded having a 20 track album even if there are songs that are about 5 years older than the rest of the materia. I hate how she awfully paid dust to the droplets.

it has happened in her social media accounts at least once a year since 2015 lol I believe there's already plenty of people here ready to do it once March gets to end and there are zero REAL news, It was such an epic moment haha THANK YOU ECLIPSE, wherever you are. I am shock she hasn't block me yet, I'd like to think she still remembers me back from 2013 <3 (sure she doesn't haha not after how much drugs she used lol) That's so fucking creepy. She posts RIP pictures at least once every two months.

Imagine the meltdowns here and in her Instagram comments when March ends and nothing gets released or announced.

I'm a huge Utada stan, I love how active she has been after her hiatus. Ayu has been a total deception after Love songs tho.... but I like her still, I used to love her music so much during 2000-2009 preach sis!!!

I know she was a pretty serious model and she worked for many important brands, even YSL. But ONE photoshoot months ago vs the many many many photoshoots and model gigs she had back in 2010-2013 is nothing. It's not like she earned a lot of money from that one only photoshoot, and considering her friend is the photographer, most likely she wasn't paid that much, and more than "work" is just a friend's favor.

I agree with you all. Even though I liked the album entirely, I kinda felt underwhelmed overall, I blame these situations: 1. The songs are way too damn short. 2. The mixing is kinda off sometimes, There are beats that lacked a certain punch and make certain songs sound fuller instead of dull. 3. The closer track is so unnecessary, a shame it's not another full song. 4. The wait was way too long. 5. The overall sound is way too similar to the one she had 5 years ago with her debut EP, there was no evolution nor development for her as an artist. 6. We all know she can do better, she has done so much better during CC. Anyway, it's a solid album, but Im not crazy about it, expected so much more, and the thing that hurts the experience the most for me was that the songs are way too darn short.

She could be releasing an album made of 3 "Cry Baby" songs, 3 "Wild at Heart" songs, 3 "I'm Not Alright" songs, 3 "I Will" (aka NTMT first version) songs and 5 "Masochism" songs and I would be more than happy at this point.
