I thought we were getting the official WAP music video soon... not impatient, just wondering if she said if she gave up on it, moved on or is still working on it.

That snippet is an old unreleased song that Honeymouns probably wanted to tease because nothing else is going on and most fans are bored as hell. It’d be stupid to leak something new when Lana follows you. I don’t really care for it.

She should’ve done this since the beginning. I think it would’ve prevented leaks of past songs. Also she wouldn’t feel the need to put out an album of 25 previously unreleased songs if those songs don’t speak to her anymore. The country songs were cute to me too.

Whenever someone writes HIADT, I keep confusing it with HIAB

I was singing this damn song to myself today, specifically that part bc the fucking rain put me in a mood and then she posts THAT????? BITCH. Those vocals though.

Oh no, I know that. I should’ve been a little clearer. I meant to say that even her music video ideas usually don’t happen so idk if she has the complete freedom or drive to release her art, whether it’s through music release/visual form. Whether it’s the label, her team, whoever else, or even herself that’s stopping the potential the work could have. It’s conflicting to me.

I wish Lana released more EPs before BTD with songs that didn’t make it. That way it would’ve become a habit and we would have the two songs she played recently. They could’ve been “fan singles” too or just add to the hype in general. She would’ve made more profit over it and become less impulsive- not saying NFR will have the same treatment as LFL. Just a thought since I was going the through the Arctic Monkeys discography and they have a lot of EPs with songs that didn’t make their albums. But then again idk what the deal is with her label. It’s so conflicting- Lana says she has a lot of freedom to do what she wants, but then people like Dan previously said it’s agggravating working with them and Lana herself says her music video ideas get rejected. Idk. It’s confusing. I’m just rambling...

Has there been any artist who had a successful name-change later in their career? Because usually they change it back since they eventually realize that’s their trademark and it helps their career. Obviously most people call her Marina already, so I don’t see the need to change her name everywhere. I don’t get why she’d wanna strip the “and the Diamonds” part when she’s touring since who would notice she’s there in a festival line-up? It made her name stand out. Marina is such a common name too. Imagine if Florence dropped “and the Machine”? It doesn’t feel the same.

She’s also been getting a lot of praise by people who are older than her too bc she has a lot of potential. You don’t have to be 12 to like her music. She’s been putting a lot of effort and it shows.

Honestly.... it’s a toss up. She seemed to have fun on the LA to the Moon tour (at least when I saw her). But Lana is putting in less effort over the years and she prefers performing in festivals since they’re in an outdoor setting. Which is annoying as hell because not all of us want to spend $$$ on an expensive festival ticket that might not even have a good line-up and watch her perform the same set list from a large side stage screen.

Possibly. But I thought she was on tour while filming this. Someone must have said that before. Idk if Jack would be there when they were filming this.

People said Sylvia was different from HIADT since the caption didn’t confirm or deny the name change. Idk, might be the same case here.

All I said was it could’ve been handled differently, like simply saying “I changed the name from Sylvia to HIADT and it’s coming out on the 9th. It’s a very personal song which I wrote back in __________. Also, sorry for the future shows I’m canceling which are ________. Hope you all understand. xx” and that’s it. And not delete the post after. Literally not that difficult. Like you said, it isn’t that deep. “is she racist or ignorant, pick your player”..... didn’t I say I wasn’t saying she was racist. lmao

A requirement? lol People rn, me included, just think it could’ve been handled in a better way. Like even before she released it, it was messy. And personally, I get why people had a problem with that lyric. It’s a long tiring explanation that I don’t want to get into, bc it’ll get twisted on here. And I think most of the people saying she’s racist were on Twitter. Not here. We get she was referring to depression, people were just saying she could’ve worded it better. American is the first song that came in my head when Lana said she didn’t have a song about race of any kind lol

Something tells me that the visuals/music videos are not get better from here, so I’m really looking forward to the NFR release. Hopefully the mid-year release thing is wrong. I just want the music already.
