    tbh I think we should just all accept that the XCX World songs are dead and gone and we probably won’t get any official versions of any of them any more

     

    Then if we do it’ll be a pleasant surprise, but I really don’t see it happening

    Promo Single - N/A with no music video (August 13)

    4th Single - White Mercedes (September 6)

    Promo Single - Shake It with music video (October/November)

    Final Single - 2099 (January 1)

     

    5 singles, 2 promotional singles, 6 music videos

    why did I read N/A as No Angel lol

    genuinely curious. what did umru do to make people hate him so much? aside from being pretentious, but anyone in the pc music group can be accused of that (including charli)

    literally nothing, I dont know where the hatred stems from lol

     

    some people claim he uses Charli for attention and piggybacks her to promote his own music but I dont think that's true. I mean it's true that he gained a ton of publicity by working on Pop 2 but I dont think he's abused that at all. He barely ever talks about Charli unless he's playing a show with her or something which has happened a handful of times

     

    If Charli didnt like him she wouldnt have to work with him, but she's continued to work with him so clearly she's ok with him

     

    I think it's fine if people find him annoying or pretentious or just dont like his music. But people have some hatred of him that I dont understand lol. whatever

    the one thing I dont like about Kim's voice is her vibrato, it sounds weirdly strained to me

     

    otherwise she sounds amazing though, she clearly has a killer voice so idk why her vibrato seems so weak

     

    I love how she sounds when she really belts it in the final choruses of her songs

    nothing, I think people find him generally annoying or maybe they dont like his music or both

     

    afaik he hasn't done anything like that, nothing remotely objectionable or bad, so idk why ppl are calling him a rat

     

    I think his tweets are funny lol

    hm, idk why she would change the title of CTMP to something else, it's already a perfect title

     

    except if she wanted to surprise us by giving it a different name but I highly doubt it lol. I think she thinks it leaked, which it did just not in HQ. It's almost surely scrapped :(

    i'm also happy an album is coming but let's be real, the obvious decline in visual quality from xcx world cover to charli cover is... undeniable and extremely disappointing :( they literally shot the cover 3 days ago. they spent 6 months making the xcx world cover.

    unfortunately I totally agree

     

    She said on her Instagram story they were adjusting fonts and stuff right up until the last minute

     

    It’s kind of a mess but whatever, I’ll get over it. Mostly I’m just psyched that the album is actually coming lol

    yeah like I know the CTMP that we have is listenable but it's just _such_ an amazing song that I need to hear it in a fully polished form to do it justice

     

    also, the version we have sounds fine on earbuds but if you blast it loud on speakers you can tell it's low quality, I wish I could play it out DJing but it doesn't hit as hard as it would if it was 320

    i wonder if they booked it and then realized its built into her contract for Pitchfork festival that she cant perform in Chicago for x amount of months before and after the festival.

    damn that's a good point, I could see that being the reason

     

    I already have tickets to see her at Pitchfork so I shouldnt complain, but I just really wanna see her at a regular headlining show :/
