I wish she kept it up with the other singles. When she dropped ADIAML (song), Allie X tweeted something like "reply YES to conform" and a lot of people thought she would be on the remix. I wish that it actually would've happened. A lot of people have expressed interest in working with her, like Rina, Lily Allen, Banks, etc. so it would've been cool to see some of that this era.

I didn't order a CD from her webstore but we can assume that they'll be sold at like, Target right?

Okay purr her best video in a LONG time. Probably one of her best music videos she’s ever released. The song is cute too! But like many other have said, it could benefit from another 30 seconds or so.

I was lucky enough to win a meet and greet during the froot tour through the marinameets system. Tbh, I had a big Marina update account at the time (lol) and her team chose pretty much any update account who was going to a show. I tweeted them the morning of the show and they DM'd me almost instantly. IIRC, they only chose 5 people and we all had a +1. Also it was canceled because of the marinasblueweed stuff that went on, she won marinameets and pretty much everyone had a meltdown over it and Marina got pissed

The only good thing I have to say about the remix is I kind of like how the two of them sound singing the chorus together. Other than that... well, it’s all already been said in this thread. I understand the like... symbolism? Of having Pussy Riot do the remix but if this is the sound she was going for, I feel like Grimes would’ve been the perfect fit. IIRC Grimes was commenting on marina’s announcements about PTP as well so I feel like it wouldn’t have been impossible. She could’ve even changed up the song instead of... whatever that was. Super disappointing to see her branching out and working with different artists and getting stuff like this. Hopefully if there’s a third single (and subsequent remix) it’ll be someone that actually fits. Still excited for the album tho.

I'm OBSESSED with the album cover and really hopeful for a solid set of 10 tracks. My only complaint (not even though) is that the PTP single cover kinda ate the album cover right up. They're both amazing but I sooo much prefer the PTP single cover. But I'm so glad my sis is back and SERVING.... the in your face sociopolitical lyrics work so much better than songs like To Be Human (in my opinion ) And also.. that ALBUM TITLE OMGGGG! I'm so obsessed. It's giving camp.

This is heartbreaking. Sophie completely redefined for me what pop and electronic music can be. Product was the soundtrack of my high school years. This is such a devastating loss, and may she rest in power.

With all this talk about the worst track on FROOT, I'm really surprised Better Than That, by far the weakest track on the album (to me) hasn't really been discussed. I love Gold, I love the lyrics of Weeds but sonically it feels a bit empty. Not a bad song but not my favorite

Ok wowww holy leaks. I just listened to them and really Holiday is the only cute one, besides Stay All Night. I remember Alma said that there was a version of the song with Marina on it and teased that she would be releasing it but it never happened. I'm so glad this leaked bc I love the original version of this song and I loveee hearing Marina on it too

I was a tumblr king back in 2012 and kept seeing gifs of the Primadonna music video when it came out. I looked it up and was instantly hooked, and from there I went and discovered the rest of her music. The electra heart tumblr was SOOO good for the time, like she truly owned tumblr.

I've been sitting with the song all day before making a comment and honestly I am pleasantly surprised with this. It feels very Froot meets L+F in a good way. While the production is a little underwhelming, I love the melodies and the lyricism. It's so much better than the fake deep shit on L+F. This gives me a LOT of hope for the album. To me, this doesn't seem like lead single worthy, but still overall a really great track and very Marina. I'm ready to stan again

Well just the fact that they haven't really posted a picture together in quite a long time - and Clean Bandit seems to be off doing their own thing in like, Jamaica. Just seems like they haven't been together in months but what do I know tbh this is just me speculating from Instagram. Something feels off though

Lowkey I think her and her Clean Bandit boyfriend broke up (just me speculating) so I have faith that his production will not taint this album. It's such a shame that Marina and Clean Bandit are amazing on their own, but the songs he produced for L+F were.... not it

Saviour AND Man's World snippet on the same day? God has smiled down on me. I do see why Saviour was left off, though. Even though I feel like it's still better than Better Than That and could've easily replaced it, as it would add more to the album. These visuals so far for M5 are seriously a serve, that picture of her in the pink outfit is STUNNING. I cannot wait for this era to kick off

It reminds me a lot of Allie X's Cape God promo photos. She looks really great and the aesthetic she's got going on is giving me hope! Super excited that a new era is coming so soon

So crazy to hear Like China Dolls after it's been rumored for all these years. Honestly didn't even think it was a real thing lol. The Plastic Rainbow demo honestly kinda slaps. So cool to hear these 'new' old Marina songs

Wow, she really did that with the No More Suckers acoustic version. It is miles better than the album version. The tracks that she chose were really interesting choices. It really gives a whole new dimension to these songs. And the BEAUTY that was served in the Superstar video like WOW..... Also, about INHA, it's honestly just so shocking to me to see her even acknowledging this song. I remember the Mickey Mouse phone snippet so vividly, like I could tell you where I was when she posted it. It always really meant a lot to me and then when the song leaked I was ecstatic (literally one of her best.) I'm so happy to see her performing it on tour and seeing that the song still clearly means a lot to her. I'm super bummed that I had to sell my ticket and won't be at the show next week, the tour looks incredible. I'm super excited to see what else she has in store, especially whatever the collaboration with all women is going to be.... she is feeding us well.
