  1. I joined the forum. We'll see where this goes. . . :pft: I wish the site didn't feel so . . . clunky to navigate.

I would like to posit to everyone here and on the other forum that a better forum (in many ways, not just format) might soon be available, but that until then, I am quite placated by the existence of this thread. I hope you all feel the same. :ohno:

Still trying to learn coding so I can improve the site, instead of adding features and stuff to make it better than someone else's site. I'm not about acting better than others.

  2. But the casting :defeated:

    Good or bad?

I feel that Kutcher bore a strong resemblance to young Jobs. Josh Gad looked good in the later parts of the film. There is a nice part during the credits where they compare the actors to the real life counterparts. More of the minor characters are right on, surprisingly.

  3. Has anyone here seen this movie?

I really liked it. I cried a few times. I think i'm going to see it again. Along with Miracle, I feel it was one of the most inspiring movies. It made me walking out of the theatre wondering what I could do with my life to change the world.

    This was an amazing line/quote:

When you grow up you, tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world, try not to bash into the walls too much, try to have a nice family, have fun, save a little money. That’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader, once you discover one simple fact, and that is that everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use. Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.

  4. I wonder what implications this will have for Sochi 2014. I heard there was a movement to move the Winter Olympics back to Vancouver (which wouldn't work). I hear that SLC has all of the infrastructure to host it IF for some reason they choose to move the games.

One thing that bothers me is people saying that the IOC supports the discrimination by banning anyone from protesting against it during the games. That's not true. The IOC has NEVER allowed political gestures of any sort at the games. Look up the 1968 Black Power salute.

  5. I collect a lot of Beat writing.

    On The Road - Kerouac

    Howl - Ginsberg

    Desolation Angels - Kerouac

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Thompson

    Big Sur - Kerouac

  6. does it look good to you?  :biblio:

It's kind of like "wtf" with a bad connotation. Sort of like an appauled face... I don't really know how to describe it, I feel like it speaks for itself. Queen Biblio.  :legend:

Well the post that it was in just got deleted, so now i look like an idiot asking what it looks like hahaha
