I really like how its not like anything she has done before. These have been her most recognizable "summer" songs to me and Ive really enjoyed them. Sure, its fun to listen to honeymoon or BTD/UV but they are more of a fantasy. This feels real and cozy. Visiting national parks, staying in cabins, small towns. I guess it just feels more familiar to me than NY or LA (I live in Wa state). I feel like this album understands I just wanna have a good time

I have a similar feeling she is going to be fun and flirty but I feel like being fully EXPLICIT isnt her style, atleast I just wouldnt expect it. Edit: Actually I could imagine it with everything that is happened.. we will see.

I was thinking earlier how Wild on You(I Get Wild) and Wild at Heart are similar in ways, but at the same time not. Wild on You wouldnt exactly fit with the rest of the album. Cocc truly has its own feel that is different from her previous work.

rlly? I feel like she might use a lot of the songs for shows. Im guessing title track, TJF, and DTWD. I also think LMLYLAW could be her place to "switch it up" since the lyrics are pretty easy to run through and have fun with. Then again I wasnt really in the fandom during the HM era so ..

ok im listening again and its sooo good. I really like how she sounds very free and confident. Ive also realized the cover art is starting to make sense. Its almost like a bar photo, how they are all grouped together. Ik its at a country club but thats another vibe im picking up. Has anyone pointed out at 1:33 in DTWD she sings "Clementine isnt just a fruit, It's my daughters chosen name"

I wonder if country genre listeners like it she's probably throwing a lasso around a few if you know what I meaned.

So far my top favs are (In no order) LMLYLAW, Yosemite, Wander, and title track. What Im struggling with is getting that immersive story feeling, the songs feel a bit jumbled to me. I mainly wish they had bolder more obvious* atmosphere. Songs like DBJAG have a lot of changes that kinda throw me off. I also wish Yosemite had more backstory, a bit more elaboration. The whole TV static and cabin lyric feel random. But I really love what I AM getting from them. Yosemite, expecially. Its so foresty and enternal. I think they will grow, might just take some time.

Kinda random but I bet she feels comfortable being in anchorage. Its a small town feel and everyone kind of minds there own business. I bet she feels like a regular girl having a night out with her boo I wouldnt expect anyone to harrass her or demand pictures, they would probably just be like "oh cool, she actually wanted to come here"
