-Sorry to bump the thread- I came across a person on YT (Mohamed Bouadjimi) who did a cover of Yosemite. He made up some lyricsIm pretty sure since the only real snippet I know of is that really short one with the annoying fans screaming. But his cover sounds REALLy beautiful!! I was so sad to realize it might not be what Lana does, but Im still interested in what we will eventually hear. He kinda posted it as if it was a real leak so hes catfishing as the real song tbh. But now that I listen to his version on the daily idk how I will react to the real version..... I hope I like it I tried to search the thread to see if anyone else mentioned this but I only skimmed every few pages~

I remember drawing a picture of her while I was staying after school (2017), a guy came up to me and asked "Isnt that Lana Del Rey?" "Yeah" "Huh.. I havent heard about her since she was really big back then, is she still making music?" It kinda made me realize how some people arent up to date on her. I think she has def entered a new era starting with NFR, since it got so many postive reviews and finally broke her out of her BTD image- all the reviews said how that album was so much more "mature". I started listening to Lana during her LFL era and I remember seeing her still as the BTD girl. But it seems like even tho she has progressed now we have other problems like her honestly superficial comments on race * for questions about her stance on things. I dont think she is racist at all, but heres how I know she needs to respond to questions better: I wouldnt reccommend anyone to practice responding the way she does. I guess its just an aspect of her we didnt see yet. I hope she learns to own up to her actions or she is gonna look like a "princess" who cant handle people misunderstanding her when she gives spotty answers. Oh well. We will see how it goes. (Sorry if this is harsh, but Im still annoyed by her Annie interview and her response)

I feel like the wolf symbolism also represents being a woman. Its interesting cause she has a younger girl in the MV and it shows how Lana, and her friends are older and have become dangerous/maybe know what the dangers are in their world. While the girl is still in her childhood. Like, when youre older you know a lot more about the darker aspects of life. Theres a big contrast to them at the swimming pool to them in the woods.

And plus she just...... uh. She probably thinks she sounds really cute with that "cooked good and sweet" line. Idk. Comes across more as cocky :/ (I cant remember if this was from her Insta or twitter srry)*

I really love this song and "I dont want to go" cause they have that PNW vibe, atleast to me. I feel like this song is set in oregon, which I like cause I live in WA. It might just be the 70s influence (although idk how that makes it PNW) The setting I "see" in this song was a new place I hadnt seen before. Like we know when she sings in New York vs La or rich lifestyle vs poor. I think the dark and mysterious/ small town fits her really well- or shes just accidently catering to me, which makes me b like "bravo!"
