me too. that's the thing I still don't get: for being so obsessive/psychotic, Lana fans are lazy as shit when it comes to recording proper bootlegs. I doubt we'll get one full listenable concert out of the Endless Summer tour, which is a shame. In Europe they seem better about recording, so maybe when she tours there next we'll get some good tracks

I know the premier of a new song takes planning, authorizations, etc. -- but plans can change. Just because they learned it doesn't mean she absolutely "has to" play it, like you said.

That's not true at all. Just because they learned the songs doesn't mean she's obligated to play them. The band learned YCBTB just to play it once, and presumably that wasn't the original plan. And according to the setlists they learned FMWUTTT, but they've still never played it.

Gosh, I think you're being a little bit harsh -- just because someone sits down for a slow, obscure, semi-released cover song it makes them a "bandwagon fan"?

There's a difference between "exploring new material" and completely changing your artistic aesthetic, which it seems like some people are calling for. I want Lana songs to sound like Lana songs.

I *hope* that Honeymoon is BTD 2.0. She doesn't need to change sounds or reinvent herself every album -- she'll eventually alienate her fans (other than the ground-worshiping stans) because if she keeps going in new directions eventually one of them will be a dud.

Is it any better in the pit? I had seats when I saw her, but it looked like every single person in the pit had their arm/phones up too. Doesn't seem like it'd make a difference unless you're absolute front row...

I think it changes night to night -- not including, of course, the usual delays that happen at any concert and make things unpredictable.
