Neal or Madrigal would get my vote, but only because I've seen pictures of Monicker. :creep: Yeah, Maddy, we're buds, not brothers. I'm kind of regretting telling people I'd post a picture. I'd have liked to see how I would have stacked up in the vote. However, I do like the fact that I could end up being one of the least viewed for awhile since only a few people saw me in the tinychat and I only said I would post a photo eventually.

Do you drink more Diet Mt. Dew and Pepsi?

Orange Crush is pretty awesome, both the song and the drink. I was ecstatic when it became widely available in my area again a few years ago. -
Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
evilentity replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
You spoke too soon, Mo. -
Yep. [insert obvious/lame "I'd like to see her down under" joke here.] #DirtyOldManPost

I think Monicker and I are both too lanky to have been cast in that video. I still maintain that it's more about my attraction to her voice than her appearance, but I can see how someone would say there's a pattern here.

I got really excited for a minute when I misread this thread's title as "Lana covers Rolling Stones in Mexico". "Finally, we'll have Ruby Tuesday!", I thought.

If you don't think you're familiar with Orianthi, you may have seen her perform at the 2009 Grammys where she often stole the show from Carrie Underwood during her performance of "Last Name". She was also MJ's virtuoso chick guitarist in This Is It. She has since toured as Alice Cooper's lead guitarist. Like Lana, Orianthi's another beautiful young woman with once in a generation talent whose musical direction I often question. Why would someone who can do this... ...or this... ...waste their time on pop schlock like this? Ori, why are you settling for being Avril Lavigne when you're Eddie Van Halen, Carlos Santana, and Stevie Ray Vaughan rolled into one in hot blonde female form with a sexy Australian accent? I don't think I could imagine anything cooler than that if I tried. Fortunately, she seems back on track with her 2011 EP Fire which is on Soundcloud in its entirety. Here's three of the tracks: I can't wait until she releases her next full length album.

Do you drink more Diet Mt. Dew and Pepsi?

As someone who doesn't drink coffee and depends on Mountain Dew for his caffeine fix, I consider Diet Mountain Dew sacrilege. Me too. I consider myself a bit of a root beer connoisseur. It's honestly pretty hard to beat A&W draft root beer from an A&W restaurant. -
The very idea of this amuses and frightens me in ways I can't express.

I already have. Um, I don't remember ever saying publicly that I would definitely upload a still from the tinychat. I did say to at least one individual privately that I might post a still anyone took if it wasn't too unflattering. (The only one I've seen was.) I did promise to post a picture of some kind and I will still make good on that. But I am certain that your promise to unmask yourself was not at all contingent on my doing so, only on Maddy and TPD's doing so. :sarcastic:

Eerie. It's as if you somehow knew I have a couple nosebleeds a day this time of the year. It's impossible to clean the buildup in my right nostril without aggravating a scab there. I should probably get that shit cauterized, but I have this (probably irrational) fear that it will affect my sense of smell. #OffTopicPost I hadn't noticed it until I listened to the "acapella". I was beginning to think the nosebleeds were a sign I was having an aneurysm until you amended your post. I'm tired of feeling like I'm fucking crazy.

I still hear "Hit it and run". And do I hear a male voice harmonizing with her on the chorus?
-
I imagine Monicker cooing to Chuck, "I know your husband, and he wouldn't mind."
-
99% sure she's already married:

Yeah, although a few other straight guys recently came out of the closet in the shoutbox. #ItGetsBetter Yeah Sitar, just because you don't like something doesn't make it "ew"! #ReverseReycist

If Jessica Fletcher by herself makes up the 1.4% of people over 75, that means there are at least two people older than me in the 35-44 range. Also, I'm curious... how do orientations break down by gender?
-
First her teacher, now her preacher.
-
I hear "too" or "tune". And I'm pretty sure it's "dimebags". :badbitch:

I love songs where her vocals sound kind of unhinged, almost out of control, but not quite. BTW... do you think the lines "Walking is an art, so is my body" and "He wants a real girl, I’m like a cartoon" are references to her having work done?

Attention. And they're getting it.

I still like my Lynchian psychogenic fugue theory. Open up your butterfly doors, heavy hitter. Let's ch-ch-change our DNA.

Glad I could pop your "Chet Baker" cherry.

Did Lana write any of her songs under the influence of drugs?
evilentity replied to Lillie's topic in Lana Thoughts
I can't speak to creating music on drugs but listening to live jazz fucked up on hash cookies is fucking amazing. That reminds me, I've been meaning to buy some shares in Christiania. Also, the Bill Hicks samples at the beginning and the song itself are quite germane to this subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk1Ah1sNOAY
