  1. It'd be great if someone could dig up the untagged version of that pic of Arthur and Lizzy.
  2. A whole new subsection devoted to all her shows before she got famous is on its way. Stay tuned.
  3. Is this just a still from the video?
  4. You mean aside from having had 7 opportunities to see Lana in concert (8 if you count the Isle of Wight) and 6 more scheduled?
  5. I also rejoiced when I read this. Actually, I'm male and evil.
  6. If Lana did this with her leaked stuff, I'd still buy it check it out from the library and rip it.
  7. Anybody have these untagged?
  8. What's so great about the digipak? When it comes to purchases, I'm more of a practical fan, not so much a collector. Because I'm fucking cheap.
  9. I couldn't have put it better myself.
  10. The inclusion of the DVD made me consider buying the box set until I remembered DVDs are only 480p and I can rip the videos in higher quality off YouTube. Someone convince me why I should still get it.
  11. While there could be a double meaning, the article reads as if she wrote "Kill Kill" as an expression of her anger that they didn't like the title.
  12. She mentioned "Kill Kill" specifically? I think I missed this.
  13. Ha... I read the last word in the title of this thread slightly wrong. #FreudianSlip
  14. I'm so glad I didn't rush out to buy this.
  15. Yes. Fix this please. How can us mods be #TeamLanaElite without this?
  16. I agree. It's one of the most patently ridiculous lyrics in recent pop music. I disagree. I actually think it would be a bigger deal if a male singer said that. Rappers however... Not to mention corrosively acidic. Not sure I'd want to stick my dick in that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUVwR0rw5fk Coconuts are useful for all sorts of things: Yes, much like sex on a beach, food play often works better in fantasy than reality.
  17. I'd be surprised if it isn't her playing "Get Drunk". I also believe she mostly wrote the guitar parts on the other NKF songs, and she might have played them, but I think it's more likely she had a more polished guitarist play them on the recordings. She doesn't "play a good guitar", as she sings in "For K Part 2". (That's why I don't think it's her playing on the "For Brandon" instrumental track on her ReverbNation page.) But she did play a competent guitar at a lot of her early gigs. I'm pretty certain it's her playing on all of these: Sirens Money Hunny Axl Rose Husband Elvis 1949 You're Gonna Love Me Fordham Road Get Drunk Queen of the Gas Station (acoustic demo) Pawn Shop Blues (demo) Pawn Shop Blues (live) Yayo (acoustic demo) I also believe she more or less wrote but likely didn't perform guitar parts for these songs, perhaps others: Disco Jimmy Gnecco Oh Say Can You See For K Part 2 (demo) Jump Brite Lites (NKF) Put Me in a Movie Smarty On Our Way (demo) David Kahne was asked this in a LanaDaily interview, but about AKA, not NKF: My theory that she at least wrote guitar parts for a lot of her early songs is just intuition based both on listening and this David Kahne quote. I'm curious what other people's theories are on what she did or didn't write or play.
