  1. Hey, guys! I've been going out of my mind, over the course of the past year, trying to figure out where Lana will end up playing in NYC, this time around. Since it's so late into the year and she hasn't played NYC yet, I'm guessing it's going to be a lovely surprise where she'll end up playing. Any speculations? Will she end up doing multiple nights at Terminal 5 (unlikely, I think), or will she do Beacon Theater? I'm usually so good about guessing the venues my favorite musicians will play, but Lana has me stumped!
  2. I can defintiely relate to being an "older" fan and feeling a bit out of place, in terms of energy. I'm 24, and I've done some crazy waiting and standing for musicans at festivals and venues; but, I really feel like I overexerted myself for Lana, something that ended up being hugely wasted because being front row wasn't necessarily enjoyable. I loved seeing Lana up-close and getting to interact with her; but, honestly, being several rows back would've made the experience a lot more enjoyable. I'm not interested in getting an autograph or a photo with her. I wanted to have a conversation with her, so waiting after the show for her to come out was preferable. Just being able to tell her I was a fan and what her music meant, to me, felt much more intimate and personal, you know? As someone who is kind of a "front row snob" (i.e., I hate not being front row), I have to admit that, for a Lana show, I'm never doing front row again.
  3. We probably talked to each other, at the show. I was wearing a pink polka-dot dress! I was definitely talking to your friend whose wrist was slashed when everyone was let into the auditorium. Terrible! I couldn't believe how deep that cut was--these pushy people at the concert were insane! This is coming from someone who lives in Brooklyn and has to deal with insane NYC venues, someone who has waited 14 hours in disgusting New Orleans humidity for Muse at Voodoo Fest. Seriously, nothing compares to the chaos of this Connecticut venue! I've never seen a crowd quite like this one... It was crazy. IT IS A MIRACLE WE ALL SURVIVED. Haha.
  4. Sorry I didn't respond earlier. Did you enjoy the show? The Skip the Line pass is just an extra "ticket" that let you skip the long line; so, you go in before anyone else. It paid off, in terms of not having to wait at the crack of dawn, but it certainly did not change the fact dealing with GA was a horrendously chaotic mess. I've been to hundreds of shows and countless festivals; but, man, this show was brutal! I really thought people were going to get killed!
  5. Figured I would start a thread. Anyone else going? I'm driving from Brooklyn, NY today, for the show. So excited. I've been to the venue before, and they never heavily advertise their Skip the Line passes, so I went ahead and bought one for this show. It was only a few extra dollars, so I figured, why not? Lana... <3 I'm extremely excited! ETA: Oh, and I bought a ticket through AIW, as well as LiveNation. So, I technically have an extra GA ticket, if anyone is interested. *shrug*

Yes! I would definitely appreciate this, too!

Something about the Adventures in Wonderland pre-sale just didn't sit right with me. And, it didn't help that, when I called the Connecticut venue, they said they had no idea about the pre-sale, and they couldn't find my name in anything. It really stressed me out; but, luckily, I got a GA ticket on LiveNation, as well. All in all, I trust AiW and I obviously trust Lana's official FB page. But, I didn't want to take any risks. Hopefully, all this means is that I just have two tickets--and I can maybe find someone to buy the second ticket off of me, the day of the show. So, um. Anyone who is going to the Connecticut show... I have an extra ticket? Haha.

Wow, that's crazy... Yikes! I am still worried/concerned about this whole Adventures in Wonderland presale. I called them today, and they said they would get back, to me. I still haven't received that second confirmation email that requires a reply. Errr! I'm so sorry. *hugs* I hate, hate, hate reading about when this happens. Which show?

Well, if you were to buy from a third party, Stubhub is a reliable option only because of the fact the site offers insurance; so, if for some reason the tickets are fake, they will refund you. So, you at lest know you have a cushion. But, honestly, Stubhub prices are so ridiculous, and I wouldn't want to see anyone spending money like that. Not sure how it really works when tickets are will call, but they manage, somehow. Stubhub is a strange little nook of the internet.

Which show are you going to? Keep checking TM throughout the day and upcoming week. TM is known for sporadically releasing tickets even after they've claimed to be "sold out." This has happened to me before.

Did the second email confirmation come from info@adventuresinwonderland.com, like the original confirmation?

I bought it right at 9 a.m. I'm going to the Connecticut show! I guess I'll email AIW tomorrow, if I still don't receive the second confirmation. But, I am also going to call the CT venue to ask about the tickets. Trying not to work myself up over it, though. I sincerely doubt Lana's official FB would do a fan presale that didn't actually guarantee entry.

I haven't received the second email, asking me to confirm. Should I be worried?

I'm at work, so I can only access FB on my phone, but here is the post I saw. Haven't checked twitter.

On Adventures in Wonderland's Facebook page, they confirmed there were no additional privileges, just general admission. But, I also saw a few people posting that they've contacted the venues, and the venue has claimed they can't guarantee entry with these tickets. This can't possibly be right? Why would Lana's official FB page post it, if it wasn't legitimate? Wtf? Are these people just nuts? Here's the FB page: https://www.facebook.com/WonderlandAdventure
