  1. lol at the rating already starting to plummet after debuting in the charts, the incel bros can't handle it i'm waiting to give it 5 stars because it's going to keep falling first
  2. It was posted a couple pages back that the type of plastic used to issue/store them will break the vinyl down over time, basically degrading it. I rarely buy picture discs so I wasn't aware. Apparently you should put the disc(s) in a MoFi or rice-paper (Invest In Vinyl) anti-static inner sleeve, and then place it in a thicker protective outer sleeve (I have Invest In Vinyl for these, too - they're on Amazon). I know it seems like a lot of extra work, but my record collection is really important to me (for those of us investing in Lana it will be very valuable down the road), and I want to keep mine in pristine condition as long as I can, so I'm going to take the advice, lol.
  3. I'm sorry, but these dorks getting the album early are so fucking annoying. Taking pictures of just the sticker, throwing text all over the gatefold, being too nervous to post pics, it's like... I wasn't going to report you to the FBI, but I am now because you're being so "top secret! confidential! privileged information!" about it. And I hope they are jailed, forever. I wanna see pics of the back cover, the variants, the gatefold, the poster, everything. Bitch.
  4. I didn't realize picture discs shouldn't be left in the sleeves they came in. Good to know! My poor HAIM picture disc, lol. I just bought more inner sleeves to put the vinyl into an outer sleeve.
  5. OK, lame question, but we have 3 more days and I'm just... waiting: What vinyl variant do you consider the "standard" for COCC (other than black)? Or the color variant that represents the album best? If there was only one color variant being sold, which do you think Lana would have chosen from the ones we got? Curious 2 know ur thoughts.
  6. Is Target the only variant without a gatefold (and do we know it isn't a gatefold for sure?). I double checked the other variants and it says they're all gatefold.
  7. Did they make the back cover black and white instead of brown/sepia-toned? Looks that way to me, but I could be wrong.
  8. I just realized the title track is now my third most-played Lana song behind West Coast + Venice Bitch. I genuinely didn't even realize... There's just something about it that makes it infinitely replayable to me. I never get sick of it and it never gets old. I wish there was a word for it.
  9. The way people who haven't listened to White Dress don't even know that the second verse is better than the first. "Summer........... sizzling................"
  10. That honestly doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. I guess we'll see what the full package looks like.
  11. Is it possible to peel off that ugly blue WalMart sticker on the picture disc? It looks gorgeous but I don't want that sticker near this masterpiece.
  12. Didn't Lana straight up say she already has a title for her next album in the Music Week interview, and her managers said she's working on 2 albums at once + Behind the Iron Gates? I think she just means she's done promoting this album for now, just like Honeymoon. Before today, she hadn't even directly mentioned the album since the day it was announced.
  13. Standard cover her revenge... But seriously, that does not sound cute. I never ordered the Pink UO NFR because the standard cover art mixed w/ the pink vinyl grossed me out. Edit: I might cancel my Target vinyl if the cover art is literally the only thing different. The red doesn't fit the album, anyway. Idk.
  14. I thought COCC was the album inspired by her relationship/breakup with Sean? Who knows.
  15. This is Lana, though. She's.... laughably inconsistent with what she says a lot of the time. The girl's a machine. And I have no doubt she's been... inspired... by recent events. I think that's why I was so shocked when I heard COCC. I didn't notice any of the themes she said she'd be exploring in Question for the Culture. It's not an angry album at all. So it kind of sucks that she's been doing everything she can to sabotage this one when it's so beautiful.
  16. I was under the impression one would be the covers album, one would be an album of new material (which is why she said inspired by the last 18 months, COCC was pretty much fully written by the start of 2020 if I'm not mistaken). But maybe I'm just projecting, lol.
  17. Knowing her, that + For Free. And that's it. Also, I'm really hoping for her to premiere White Dress on the radio this week. Hearing that song on the radio would be so weird, I'm totally here for it.
