  1. Charli sat behind the wheel of her lavender Lamborghini, a smile spreading across her face as she revved the engine. The car was a recent acquisition, a present to herself for all the hard work she had put in over the past year. She had always dreamed of driving a Lamborghini, and now that dream had finally become a reality.

"Let's ride," she whispered to herself, throwing the car into gear and pulling out of the driveway.

As she drove down the highway, the wind whipping through her hair, Charli couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and freedom. She had always been a bit of a thrill seeker, and there was nothing quite like the feeling of speeding down the road with the top down.

"All my life, I've been waiting for a good time, a good time," she sang along to the song playing on the radio. "Let me ride, let me ride."

As she pulled up to the beach, Charli could see her friends waiting for her, all dressed in their cutest bikinis and ready to party.

"Hey, Charli!" one of them shouted as she got out of the car. "Lookin' luxe and tastin' plush, I'm feeling so alive!"

Charli laughed and hugged her friend, the two of them excited to spend the day lounging on the beach and sipping on icy drinks.

"Want to take it to the highway, come on, let's go for a drive," Charli suggested, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Her friends nodded eagerly, and the group piled back into the Lamborghini, eager to explore the open road.

As they drove, Charli couldn't help but feel grateful for the good times she was experiencing. She had always been determined to live life to the fullest, and today was no different.

"Bitches know they can't catch me," she sang along to the song, a smile spreading across her face as she pushed the car to its limits. "Cute, sexy and my ride's sporty."

The day flew by in a blur of laughter, music, and endless driving. And as the sun began to set and the group made their way back home, Charli knew that she would always cherish the memories of this perfect day.

"Let's ride," she said with a smile, revving the engine once more as she pulled out of the beach parking lot. "Let's ride."

  2. It is not publicly known why Atlantic Records made Charli XCX scrap her original third album that was produced by SOPHIE, Stargate, and Bloodpop in 2017. However, it is possible that the label felt that the album did not align with their vision for Charli XCX's artistic direction, or that it did not have the potential to be a commercial success. The moderate success of the lead single "After the Afterparty" may not have been enough to justify continuing with the album.

Just listened to MYTP for the first time and whoever thought it was a good choice for first single literally has worms like-.. it sounds exactly like As It Was (which is also bad).

Million Dollar Baby on the other hand has some Ava’s touch which is good. Trying to create courage and listen to the album but yall are complaining about the quality so idk

It was teased before As It Was even released. As It Was releasing first is probably why it flopped. :rip:

  5. I'm surprised there isn't a thread for her yet...

HYRA is throwing it back to the early days of hyperpop with her new single, "REM (No Sleep)."

The energetic track draws upon the ever-looming impact of PC Music on today’s cultural landscape and marries elements of its production with that of more mainstream EDM, morphing it into a musical framework that’s as synthetic as it is real.

HYRA comes from a long lineage of pop songwriters who combine their emotive side on the lyrics with boisterous electronic production, with Charli XCX and Lady Gaga having been two of her biggest influences. She’s bounced back and forth between all of the US pop capitals — LA, NYC and Miami — and brought with her a full deconstruction of the genre.

  6. If the standard had no changes besides sequencing and  www being replaced by coconuts, these are the deluxe tracks:

Official tracklist from May 2021 before she signed to Republic.

The way she thought she could sign to a big label and get an album instantly approved for release. :deadbanana:

It looks like www was later replaced by coconuts in July.

I'm guessing this is likely one of the only finalized tracklists that exist since the album was still getting worked on with tracks getting added and removed until it was cancelled. This is truly XCX world all over again. :toofunny:
