As if anyone on her label cares about making a concentrated, strategic effort at maximizing her streams/sales/whatever in a week. She'll release whatever, whenever.

What do you guys think made Interscope want to send Love to radio as opposed to other songs in the past? Is it because Lana actually seems interested in promoting the song or?

Not that I would ever expect Marina and Lana to collab anyways, but all of y'all calling Marina's music trash are just objectively wrong. Don't discount my girl Marina like that

I am sorry that I'm telling that but am I the only who doesn't like the fact that she wrote an album for her fans? I appreciate that but I wanna listen to some of her beautiful experiences..and in the video she isn't one of them.I guess lana is turning 32 now but she is so young..
Personally, I like it because she's able to write from a new perspective. Plus, she didn't actually write this album for her fans, in my opinion, it feels more like a romanticization of her and those who are like her. It feels more like she's writing from a perspective of "youth" and the joys of being young and in love with so much left of the world to explore than anything else.

With Love being dedicated to her fans, it brought me a different perspective when listening to Video Games. The line "It's you, it's you, it's all for you" from Video Games felt like she was personally singing to me. Obviously I know she's not but I felt it nonetheless. I love the new song and the music video is beautiful.

homegirl needs to chill a bit with this aesthetic. there's a difference between embodying a character or whatever and just being creepy.

I'm loving Man on the Moon! I remember hearing this song back when I saw her live and really enjoyed it, but didn't realize she was singing an original song. I always assumed it was a cover. The instrumentation for the verses kind of remind me of like a carnival game/ride? If that makes any sense?

Almost through my first full listen of the album, I'm hoping that this becomes more enjoyable through repeat listens. The album may end up being a grower for me. Aside from the songs she released before the album, I'm also really enjoying John Wayne and I'm feeling pretty underwhelmed by Hey Girl.

How hard is it to have a non-messy album release campaign? I'm genuinely asking because labels seem to think it's impossible with the release date bullshit, ugly cover messes that seem to happen all the time.
Also, why does she have to have a hit in the US before the album is released? Is she unlikely to get a hit if the album is already out? I don't get it.

Of course the one time Lana puts a great amount of effort into the show, sings really well, has backup singers and choreography, she ends up getting a terrible crowd
I'm glad she decided to switch it up though.

Ugh, like I know it's her hair and she can do anything she wants with it, but still UGH. I loved her hair lighter, and I honestly think it suits her so much more than this lifeless color.

Charli XCX

You might wanna consider being a fan of another artist then?
I like Charli. I really do. However, I don't have to like every song she puts out? I'm allowed to consider Vroom Vroom to be trash.

Deleted the Vroom Vroom ep off my phone because all of the songs are ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ to me. Vroom Vroom is making me realize that Sucker was not nearly such a step down from True Romance like I originally thought it was.

Lol why is everyone freaking out about this "mystery man" it's Emile Haynie
Is she working with him again?

This project wasn't well-thought out and it sucks, because it's affecting the buyers much more than it is affecting Moy. Like what the fuck? No one is ever too busy to post an update.

The song is great, I don't what people are going on and on about. Also, this shift to pop is not unexpected, why are people so surprised?
And calling Lorde ugly? Yikes.
