as a lana stan for almost a decade now i think it’s safe to say that this is her best era in fucking YEARS…… i was not prepared to receive such an insane level of servery at this point in her career but i am so so grateful for it 

the boob is singlehandedly carrying this era on its back 

all we need is an album trailer and this era will skyrocket into being one of her best

i feel like this album is going to have all the cinematic grandeur with that underlying eerieness that honeymoon has but with a way more insane and unhinged twist IM SHAKINGGGG

It won’t carry the same “omg Lana is actually one of the best songwriters we have!” narrative because that has already been consolidated but I genuinely think this album will be the portal to a new stage of her career ala Fiona Apple where her albums will get consistently raved and talked about. I can see Pitchfork creaming themselves over this one (long tracks, conceptually dense, unusual use of features, etc) as opposed to the most modest reaction Chemtrails and BB had. This one feels more ambitious and perhaps a more incisive statement from her. 

i agree wholeheartedly. i think this album is already shaping up to be a cornerstone in her discography. i just have such a good feeling about it! 

i’m trying to restrain myself from listening to ocean blvd too much before the album comes out but i cant help it…. it’s become a top 5 title track from her easily

the pettiness is definitely her leo moon coming through ugh she’s so iconic 

i took a long scenic drive today and ocean blvd came on as i was driving through a tunnel and i started sobbing  the effect this woman’s music has on me is unmatched 

i love when lana experiments with her singing style (white dress, dealer etc) so i just know fingertips is about to be a serve

it’s been a week and i still can’t go a single day without listening to ocean blvd at least twice  it’s been a minute since a lana single has affected me like this

i really hope we get another album trailer for this era  this album seems to be so special and i would love to get a further glimpse into the visual direction and atmosphere of it all
